@dblancog Sometimes it happens that I'm sure the key is normal, but it turns out to be used. Apparently those who arrange giveaways or key sellers make a mistake! When people come to me with such a problem, I always try to replace it with another key!

But there are also bad people who do nasty things to everyone and put negative feedback everywhere...

@ctpax001rus yes, that's understandable. I also have 3 negatives, since I have created a giveaway with a key obtained from Feudalife and as we know sometimes IndieGala itself offers duplicate keys.

The sole purpose of this thread is to prevent scammers from systematically creating fake giveaways. When a user creates many giveaways of the same game (especially of a high value) it is suspicious. If it also has many negatives, it is very likely that it is a scammer.

If you are honest you have nothing to worry about. Simply try not to increase your negatives anymore, making sure as much as possible that the keys are legitimate in the giveaways you publish.

EDIT: Found how to do it.

Sorry to bother but i'm trying to add bad users reported here to my blacklist but putting their name on the blacklist line and clicking ban just give me a "Error, retry later!" message, what i'm doing wrong?

Grettings everyone,

Beware of user karmHAM (SilverApparitionLunar), he used a valid code I gave through a giveaway and rated me negative. I don't care if this is a language issue since the user is apparently japanese but I was VERY SPECIFIC about the giveaway conditions. I just want everybody to know about this problem since the site is plaged with scammers and cheaters. The user never tried to contact me either.

I think he won a giveaway and made a new one without trying the key, all the intial giveaways for "FUSER - Launch Pack" where from @beckabark844786324, that already had an history of fake keys, that wy i jumped the Fuser Giveaways.

If you post a giveaway with a key that is NOT a Steam Key OR is a key for a different version of the same game OR is a key for a totally different game you are breaking the IndieGala Rules so any user can activate the working key AND leave a negative feedback, this happened to me too.

Their doing a legitimate thing for the site so nothing can be done, you can still blacklist them from you're gieaways and if you use a key that have one of the "problems" i pointed out is better to NOT put the whole working key on the form but only part of it, then specify that the rest of the key will be given only after positive feedback is assigned, at least if you get a negative you don't lose the game.

This user constantly violates the IndieGala giveaway section rules, either by posting outright fake giveaways, or posting in-game codes that are not allowed to be given out in that section of IndieGala.

Okay so I finally got fed up with PouffyPlacebo's nonsense and reported him to IndieGala Support Staff.

I'm glad to announce that he's been banned!!!
