it's probably the right key, I received keys like these in the past as well (just invalid, it's not an invalid Paranormal key)

It's impossible for them to check this : imagine you win a key and give it to a friend who redeems it, then come back to IG and say "i had a dupe, that's what it says when i redeem it, you can check".

how about key replacements when there is video proof of us claiming the key and immediately activating it?
