In 1990, after accelerated Chinese language courses, Senior Lieutenant Booth, who had not yet graduated from the institute, left the army and began working in the Union of United Cooperatives of the USSR.
There he was a translator at the center for the organization of air transportation, worked in Brazil and Mozambique. Booth claimed that he had never served in the KGB or GRU, although the intelligence agencies of South Africa and Great Britain claimed that in 1985-1989 he was an agent of the Soviet special services.
At the end of 1991, Booth decided to start his own business and became an aviation broker. In 1993, he moved to the UAE and made Sharjah Airport the base for his airline. Booth said that his planes carried flowers, household equipment and legitimate military cargo.
In particular, in 1994, on his planes, the French military contingent was transferred to Angola, and the Belgian one to Somalia. In 1996, his company delivered Russian fighter jets to Malaysia. Booth worked in South Africa until 1998, when the authorities revoked his air transportation license. He believed that this was done under pressure from the United States.
And in 2000, the UN Security Council asked a group of experts to prepare a report on compliance with the international embargo regime against Angola, where a civil war had been going on for about 30 years.

In 2001, Bout was forced to leave the UAE, and in 2002 Belgium accused him of smuggling diamonds and laundering about $ 300 million in 1994-2001. After that, the businessman was put on the international wanted list.
According to the entrepreneur's wife Alla, Booth finally went bankrupt in 2002, after which he lived openly in Russia, tried not to travel abroad and was not engaged in the aviation business.
In 2002, the UN imposed a ban on the movement of Bout, and in 2005, together with the United States, demanded that the accounts of the Russian businessman and all individuals and legal entities associated with him be frozen.
Booth claimed that he lost about $17 million as a result of the UN sanctions, and categorically denied all accusations of arms trafficking and its illegal supply bypassing the embargo. The businessman claimed that he had never been in contact with the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, and the United States, according to Booth, simply decided to shift the blame for arming the Taliban onto him.
However, when asked whether his planes transported weapons, Booth answered evasively — he stated that he had never committed and could not commit illegal transportation. And on March 6, 2008, Booth was unexpectedly arrested in Bangkok on a warrant issued in the United States.
He was detained by the US Drug Enforcement Administration, posing as militants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), who allegedly intended to purchase surface—to-air missiles from Bout. The American side immediately announced that it would seek Bout's extradition.
According to Alla Bout, who asked for help from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, her husband came to Thailand to negotiate the construction of a plant for the production of disposable syringes for African countries. Meanwhile, the Thai authorities refused to charge Booth, but the US was very serious.

American Justice
On May 6, 2008, the US authorities officially filed charges against Bout and sent a request for his extradition to Thailand. In August 2009, the Bangkok Criminal Court, having considered this request, did not find sufficient grounds for the extradition of the Russian businessman.
At the same time, in September of the same year, after filing an appeal, the Bangkok Criminal Court refused to release Booth on bail, fearing that he would try to escape justice and leave Thailand. And on August 20, 2010, the Thai Court of Appeal overturned last year's decision of the court of first instance and agreed to the extradition of Booth to the United States.

In November of the same year, the Cabinet of Ministers of Thailand reviewed and confirmed the US request for Bout's extradition, after which he was taken to the States. A year later, on October 12, 2011, the first court hearing in the Booth case was held in the United States.
On November 2 of the same year, the jury found him guilty of all charges, and on April 5, 2012, Booth was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Initially, the convict was planned to be sent to the maximum security prison "Florence" (most of the prisoners there sit in solitary cells), located in Colorado.

According to an agreement reached during negotiations between the prosecutor's office, the court and Booth's defense, he was sent to serve time in Marion Prison (Illinois). Maria Butina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, criticized Washington's initiative and said that the issue needed to be finalized. Any exchanges should take place on equal terms for both sides, the deputy noted, therefore, if Paul Whelan, convicted of espionage, and Brittney Griner, accused of drug smuggling, return to the United States, Washington should transfer two prisoners to Moscow, Butina said.

how...sorry didn't notice this, what a strange school with any student able to translate from french to english...maybe a lack of time

yeah, kinda strange, but...on the other hand I've seen some post about the gameplay in russian even though there's no russian language in-game either, so it's either that person knew french or not every info pops up on the Steam page of the game (which is weird and counter-intuitive imho).

yeah, the browser way isn't working for me for like a week or so, so I'm just using 'play game' option then on the instal screen choose 'no' and refresh the game's page in the browser and whoala))

b) still not good that browser version of Steam not working properly

I'm in a serious debate over this one...really does feel more like I'm watching a movie with petty combat inbetween, I've been "kicking" the enemies to death half the time because my blasters keep running out of juice.

I get the feeling any real combat will be ridiculous and I really will just be calling out orders to my teammates most of the game.

Anyone here played this far enough to give me an opinion on general gameplay further into the game?

Well, as far as I concerned/heared, that's the whole of the game - it's not just another action game, it's tactical teamplay singleplayer action game

ff crisis core is my fav psp game and only ff that i like, even if u use an emulator u should try it
