Yeah Im looking for a QUIET keyboard. I get yelled at coz someone can hear me typing while Im in game with them. I've tried tippy-toe typing, typing reaaaaallly slow & quiet, cutting my nails .. .. they still hear me.. yikes.

Now I understand WHY they get mad... but we're waiting for whatever in the game and I glance over to discord and type while waiting.. but yes, Im listening, yes you have my attention.. we're waiting .. and you're yelling at me 😔 (I quite often type notes to myself too but last night resorted to pencil and paper for fear of upsetting them any more.)

Im good at stealth in game but now I need to up my game in stealth typing. I sooo miss keyboard that died a sad death due to coffee, but at least I was laughing while it died. I complain often about this POS flat HP keyboard Im using (who thought flat is a good idea at HP???) but its been a year and it has to go. For my own sanity as well as my honey's.

Open to suggestions from you all, tho I'd prefer:
MUST BE QUIET when pressing keys!! No matter how fast or slow I type;
ergonomic (yeah HP, listen up!);
wireless with maybe disposable batteries rather than it dying mid-sentence even better if it includes a mouse;
pretty lights optional;
not willing to trade my kidneys to pay for it...

Please, no lectures on how couples should tolerate each other. Im asking for keyboard suggestions. This isnt reddit.

My previous KB I still own (a cheap logitech) was more quiet than most I've dealt with, had simple tilt clips on the bottom (not really ergo, but worked with my busted wrist), and had a spill tray under it for those days of bad jokes :LOL:

Its buried atm, but it was some cheapo like the Logitech K120 USB Wired KB

I tried everything...everything except not pressing a fucking button, ADHD didn't sit well with that moment :ROFLMAO:

I was so fucking pissed when I read the stupidity of what you had to do....absolutely nothing. Literally. Even touching the d-pad after selecting wait would fuck you.

So if it was an American thing, it wasn't very well known since my parents had money when I was a kid ad I still never knew about this at all. They're the type that would have had me call all the time to make me bother someone else :LOL:

today is "suck day" the great montly WINDOWS update by MICROSOFT
now i'm starting to understand why i'm struggling whith those updates since 3y approx

everything is updating at the same moment !!!
windows, windows defender, edge, onedrive...even chrome itselft, while nvidia crash telemetry is launching , sooner or later acrobat reader will try to do the same 🤦‍♂️

considering that my device is 7y old and run W10 on a HDD (mechanical), it's a pure pain
can't even play music with foobar without interruption !!!

(it is old but i'm still able to run most games i want to play)

i know that W11 is tailored for SSD and i'm suspecting MS to intentionaly make life impossible
for W10 users with HDD by not optimising their updates:mad:

I haven't gotten a update in ages, to the point I intentionally checked for one manually thinking I might have shut the service off :LOL:

When did you get an update...and what issue is it giving you anyways? Do you mean downloading? Because there are multiple factors involved in that part that could be causing you grief, and I doubt its Microsoft based.

Like if you have it set to download from other PCs...which I strongly recommend against even more than my usual warnings, more than one viral payload has already been delivered successfully using that feature.

Another setting in the update options sets the percent or exact limit of bandwidth updates can use (foreground and background) that could be problematic if you have other things using it in either category, particularly in the background.

I won't keep rambling without knowing what your issue is, but those are the two most commonly overlooked situations.

Sorry skimmed your post.

Heres a new one, Google is now adding applications for Drive, Docs, GMail, etc. to Windows, full apps like a cell phone.

I uninstalled them right after they were added :LOL:

Usually mechanical type keyboards makes more noise then membrane keyboard. My laptop keyboard is really quiet but it was broken so I had to hook an external keyboard logitech,it makes more noise then laptop but less noise then mechanical ones.
You could try with laser keyboards, but I don't know how good to play games, I never tried it out one.

haha never played that game, looks cool! Sometimes we can't see easiest solutions :ROFLMAO:
I remember I saw Nintendo power line in magazine ads and not sure 100% in some nes videogame instructions.
It was weird it was advertised in my country and let's think about a child calling this call center from the other side of the world, how his mother would be happy to see telephone bill increasing like crazy.

Crystalis was another good game.

Destiny if an Emperor was truly unique in the way your party was formed, I think Suikoden I and II is the closest as far as somewhat modern games are concerned ad I loved that series too. It was my all time favorite NES game, even during the torment I played up to the point I could reach multiple times and tried over and over again.

I've still ever found Lu Bu's Horse and no guide to this day I've found has a location.

Tu Ma Chi or some shit was the horses name...idk what you would even do with a horse since it was the only one mentioned as obtainable in the entire game...and I honestly don't think it was.
