Well, I played most SMT Persona games and I didn't play Eternights but it's JRPG and it's dating sim and it's happening during the Apocalypse (so not only SMT Persona but SMT Nocturne, too) and until I played Eternights, I think Persona-like game is the best description.

Adventure game is a very big genre it includes many sub genres it meant even only text games then it evolved to point & click when there is both graphic and text. Yes Sierra gave a big contribution to point & click games.Yes, one of the guesses was correct. Adventure. This is what this genre is called in the post-soviet space. Moreover, there was no such word as "quest" in principle in the slavic languages, it was borrowed from english. Where this genre is always called Adventure. All thanks to Sierra and its Space Quest, Police Quest, King's Quest, where people decided that since a few games are called that, then all of them should be. I think you can guess by looking at the map how many people that is. And there it is rather surprising that somewhere someone writes some incomprehensible word Adventure in english
BTW, in your words: now the youth will most likely have a slightly different meaning of the word, because the game genre has become very niche, and now the word is used to define a real-world "escape room" games, but it seems to me that the pastime is slowly dying.

Don't take this as an insult, but it's wild to me that you think you need to apologize for a "lower" standard of your games you give away. There is no standard expected from you, or anyone. Your raffles are awesome and come from a place of generosity - you honestly don't owe us anything. And if just one person enters for a game and wins, you've made their day a bit better and already put forth the same amount of good into the world than if 50 people had entered.
