Some games I managed to finish before October hit:
Buffet Knight: Inspired by Kirby, at least the "eating a lot of things including your enemies" part. I'm surprised it has 2 endings for such a short game. Cute and colorful pixel graphics, wonderful music. Though the boss fights aren't really hard at all. There's barely any dodging when you can just hold the "consume" button and "launch" your attack at them. I think the first boss had some timing with the attacks but the final boss is just "chuck everything at 'em" pattern. Still it's fun and the 2nd ending is funny and I recommend.
Haven Park: Relaxing and meditative game about being an anthropomorphic chicken taking care of your grandma's park she left for you. There's some funny dialogue between you and the campers that come visit the park. The whole game itself is some wholesome fun if you wanna de-stress and just walk around discovering and fixing and making stuff for the campers to camp in. I didn't expect the game to end in a sad tone since it's been quirky the whole time. I love it though.
Stardew Valley: Sike! I don't think I'll ever finish this game, I mean it doesn't have an end, I think... and I'm fine with that
