I am not looking up in the courthouse bathroom  (definitely looking up)

Wrong forum dude

But you really have to wonder what its really about. I sincerely doubt those games are priced that way for levels on giveaway sites, there is another reason for it thats much more profitable i'm sure, possibly just rich collectors. Nobody makes 100+ games for giveaway leveling...thats absurd.
Thanks for pointing out that my post was in the wrong forum. (Brain fart on my end, forgot to check before posting)

Also, they are definitely not priced that way to interfere with giveaway sites, but that is a consequence though.

The way they're priced like that is so that they can collude with shady bundle sites that sell "Premium Game" bundles (advertised as all games above a certain price point) to get more money out of their shitty games than they are worth. They also jack up the price so that people cannot leave negative Steam reviews of the games, since you have to have played the games in order to review them.

IMHO, Steam should be tamping down on this by giving these companies 2 options:

1. Lower the prices of their games to be more realistic to what the game offers.
OR
2. Get their Developer/Publisher accounts and all their games thrown off Steam.

Anyone buying from such sites should know what they're going to get, and if they don't, they soon will.

Some commercial software is priced that way because some companies will actually pay for it. No need for Steam to become communists.

Sites like IG can limit the points and XP obtained. Just like they could not let F2P games be listed, if that was an actual rule, which it is not. IG does limit XP to 192 for non guaranteed games. I have also seen 200 for guaranteed games. SG limits entry points to 50.

its funny that you cant google 'spring water' because your lazy but just the idea of building your fish tank makes me head spin from all the effort your putting into it
lol, i was thinking about tap water XD

not that hard XD, a cycle is basically putting water, waiting chlorine to evaporate, and bacteries( did iwrite it right?) "grow"( good ones that transforms ammonia into good things, the bad thing is waiting, no plants has grown yet, bought the seeds)

Its cool dude, it happens.

truth unfortunately.

The bundle sites maybe especially, again, from a collectors view, the reviews would be pointless too, nobody buys a steam game and reads reviews (and damn sure for a grand) without watching thr video--and the description of the games practically tells you its trash.

If you can't see or read the description at the top of the page, reviews wont matter.

I would have thought something more along money laundering schemes or somethong where nobody was ever expected to buy the game, and the only reason they do giveaways is because some people were actually stupid and rich enough to buy it anyways

See, i'm cool your GA crusades, they dont bother me none since I do my GAs here and generally try to always replace or give someone another game and I get nothing in return anyways so complaining would be useless.

But this is a road that should be left less traveled for all gamers. Lowering prices would just create MORE of them lol.

Removing all their games would make them delisted and actually give them morre value in a sense...and then people might actual buy them for crazy prices haha.

Not to mention, if even one copy of those games had been bought at the real price, they can likely afford to make a new company, dev name, whatever, and just start right back up. It would be a pointless waste of valves time in a circle battle...bout as useless as pointing out alts and GA schemers here (and I dont mean any offense), but they can make a new account from the same exact email and just do it again, it really IS pointless on gala unless you hit a real account and most people wouldnt bother if they cared about the account.

I don't know how that could have happened, I don't think it's time for the DRP reset yet🤔. Hopefully it's a site bug or glitch and they return back to you.🤞
Resets 'supposedly' (in the US) 4 months after you get it on the 15th of the month, but its only been 3. months

EDIT:

Luckily it was a random win, i'd lose the big chunks next month if its right.
