Thanks for pointing out that my post was in the wrong forum. (Brain fart on my end, forgot to check before posting)
Its cool dude, it happens.
Also, they are definitely not priced that way to interfere with giveaway sites, but that is a consequence though.
truth unfortunately.
The way they're priced like that is so that they can collude with shady bundle sites that sell "Premium Game" bundles (advertised as all games above a certain price point) to get more money out of their shitty games than they are worth. They also jack up the price so that people cannot leave negative Steam reviews of the games, since you have to have played the games in order to review them.
The bundle sites maybe especially, again, from a collectors view, the reviews would be pointless too, nobody buys a steam game and reads reviews (and damn sure for a grand) without watching thr video--and the description of the games practically tells you its trash.
If you can't see or read the description at the top of the page, reviews wont matter.
I would have thought something more along money laundering schemes or somethong where nobody was ever expected to buy the game, and the only reason they do giveaways is because some people were actually stupid and rich enough to buy it anyways
1. Lower the prices of their games to be more realistic to what the game offers.
OR
2. Get their Developer/Publisher accounts and all their games thrown off Steam.
See, i'm cool your GA crusades, they dont bother me none since I do my GAs here and generally try to always replace or give someone another game and I get nothing in return anyways so complaining would be useless.
But this is a road that should be left less traveled for all gamers. Lowering prices would just create MORE of them lol.
Removing all their games would make them delisted and actually give them morre value in a sense...and then people might actual buy them for crazy prices haha.
Not to mention, if even one copy of those games had been bought at the real price, they can likely afford to make a new company, dev name, whatever, and just start right back up. It would be a pointless waste of valves time in a circle battle...bout as useless as pointing out alts and GA schemers here (and I dont mean any offense), but they can make a new account from the same exact email and just do it again, it really IS pointless on gala unless you hit a real account and most people wouldnt bother if they cared about the account.
