Well I clicked launch and nothing else happened so

I see no point in an idler, I can just run it on minimal settings myself and leave it in a corner lol.

You have to launch the game on steam first, then give it a minute (that's how I do it mostly) click that "Launch game" button on the AWA DBD Event page and you're good to go. Once it launches, keep it in the Main Menu or something. Then, Leave the AWA DBD Event page tab alone and that should do it. But, Like I said check if the play time for DBD is adding on Steam and once you know it's adding up you dont need to check it again..

How long does it usually take to register? Say i want to try an hour to make sure it works...and do the pick a game at the same time.

Yes, In order to do that, AWA has to register your playtime, so if all goes well, it should take 15 to 20 mins, if you're lucky. If the server's slow it will take up to an hour for it to show up on the CYOG Steam Quest.

That's great, and the DBD Community event just finished now.

As per DBD Steam page, Play for free! Ends in 1 day and 13 hours.

Yes, you should be able to, as long as Steam detects both games as being played.

Actually steam shouldn't track the other game since its not directly steam. I was going to play Trails which I bought off Epic.

Steam is just my controller whore.

Don't do too much though, as it takes the smallest thing for AWA to F itself up.

You will need Steam, the idler and AWA Page open for it to work on Mobile. But, I don't think you need Steam to be open for ASF, not sure though.

I usually just click on Join Event then idle the game with ASF. I don't even click on Launch Game.
Seems to work even if I don't have the AWA page or Steam open.

This is on Desktop. I don't know if it works differently on mobile.

You won't be able to play another game while idling games in ASF.

If you launch a game, the Steam client warns you that are you are connected from another computer and asks you if you want to disconnect.

Edit: Not sure if the above is true if ur playing an Epic game through Steam.

Not using ASF, just launching them normally and dropping the quality to dirt

EasyAntiCheat Screwed me, both AWA games are running it so it won't load twice lmao. Need to use a VM or something...and thats more effort than its worth.

That's why idling with SAM is superior. Idle as many as you want at the same time, and can play something too.
