Jesus, ivo didn't even MENTION the new release...I feel the Lov, pun intended. Douche

Well here's the public version with some sneak peek renders and the log, as we mentioned before if you want to play the game you'll need to ask one of us for access.

And here's the subscriber site links for the people we did give access already.

I didn't have time (to play the game and) answer earlier, but here I am, handsome.
I really like the idea of a retrospective of the events of the last episode, I forgot some things and it was convenient to remind myself (y)
I still like how the game makes forks - I can follow a fairly logical path and miss everything interesting or mysterious. I like that, the choice should be logical, and if it leads to a straight road without events - it was my own choice. I literally missed all the interesting events of the episode on two forks (not counting the third small one). But that's honest, it happens, and I'm still moving forward in the plot. As one of our classics of literature said: you shouldn't do all sorts of shit, but live interestingly: read books, be a spy, train your beloved monkey and go to the opera with beautiful chicks, get pleasure from life. So getting an interesting plot or no additional adventures is an honest choice of the player, I like that.
I also have a small question: how exactly does the game choose which slot to save the save to at the end? Is it always the same slot, or does it somehow decide that it's worth doing it in a new one? It seems to me that it sometimes saves at 13-1 and sometimes at 14-1, I don't understand why it does that. Because I like to replay and watch all the plot forks, but sometimes the game overwrites my autosave without asking me, so I'm left with the wrong plot choices that would have been more logical to me.
And in the game there's a problem with the letter é (fiancé), or is there a problem with the font, or something else, instead of it the game just show a crossed square.

you and everyone else i'm sure...except me, I'm a dick by nature in those games :ROFLMAO: even knowing the outcome doesnt stop me.

Jay and Silent bob? :ROFLMAO:
how exactly does the game choose which slot to save the save to at the end? Is it always the same slot, or does it somehow decide that it's worth doing it in a new one?
By default it starts at page ten slot 1 IF ITS EMPTY...otherwise it saves on the first empty page AFTER 10 in the first slot. That includes its own end game save unfortunately, it won't notice the old one after its loaded another save...both of these were done with intent for speed sake.

Since I didn't give the players ANY limit on save pages...meaning there could be a thousand of them with six slots a piece and ren'py checks saves by reading data from the files so it could get extremely slow....where when it checks for an entire blank page its much much faster--this also would happen if I checked for the previous save on every single page, I could check just page 10 but that kind of defeats the purpose entirely and would just confuse people or overwrite someones save on accident so I decided it was better to just make it the last entirely empty page, most people won't hop around to save on different pages since we have a gallery to access the smut scenes and most people will save a few times inbetween each release so it seemed the most logical way to go about it. (it does not use autosave slots and it does not overwrite the previous end game save--unless you close without saving or it crashes--then it uses the first autosave slot which shifts all the others over one)

It only sucks if your the one testing (so me lol) or if you load the end game for no reason between updates 🤷‍♂️ there really isnt a better way to do it besides have it autosave in an invisible file and then add a 'load last end save' option which I'm considering since this seems to cause alot of confusion.
sometimes the game overwrites my autosave without asking me, so I'm left with the wrong plot choices that would have been more logical to me.
This is why I didnt limit the save slots, manual save
And in the game there's a problem with the letter é (fiancé), or is there a problem with the font, or something else, instead of it the game just show a crossed square.
Its the font, I did the best I could to prevent this and switching to Spanish even removes some fonts, so I don't even know which letter and where in the game it is...leave it to ivo to fuck with actual english by adding accents over fucking letters...never noticed :ROFLMAO:

I assume your using courier new, comic sans, or ancient medium in this case because those are removed for other languages.

I'm glad to hear you truly enjoy the game...but i'm just the programmer--I'm here to handle complaints and answer questions like these or fix issues. That praise is all ivo's.

So FYI your saves are not being overwritten...you might lose track of where you saved since it would open the page where the end save is, but your game is still there--I promise you that. its likely back a few pages.

You also have 6 quick save slots...the help screen will have a shortcut for it--idk if its possible on mobile except using the menus.

I also realized some people with screen protectors cant touch the menu easily so I may need to do something there.

I make some of the screens go uuuup! some of the words fade, text scrolling, and a few other effects and help (try evidently--fucking fiance ivo--same thing lol) to correct his engrish and add a few laughs where I can ad libbing...but thats about it...as your well aware, I enjoy it as much as everyone else each release.

Now i'm working on some decent bonus content with ivo's approval...that'll be my first non-code contribution to the game, aside from credits and...well, the invisible functionality, which is quite frankly badass if not the prettiest code ever, it works great heh.

Nobody ever notices the programmer unless the game doesn't work--simple fact of life and all programmers except it as the usual 🤷‍♂️ when shits broken and we fix it we're gods for a few seconds and then we fade away with the worship :ROFLMAO:

Nobody will ever forget Durante because NIS left YS: Lacrimosa broken for SO long he was like the king of all YS fans...I had already made my own fix and beaten the game--and I still remember the mofo.

I refuse to let our game ever break...so I won't be seeing that kind of spotlight

Better to have a great game in silence with no issues, than be praised for fixing something I missed or caused...I would find it more degrading than anything lmao.

Oh one last thing...if you ever want to speed run to each choice you can right click on skip at the bottom of the screen (long press on mobile) and it will pop up a message asking you if you want to skip a different way, going straight to choices only each skip

Oh ya even I forgot...thats the shortcut for quick save too--long press on save at the bottom and it will quick save automatically. Same with quick load using load.

No :) Unfortunately, I have never seen translations into other languages :(
But the vibe is about the same, yes, as Smith had in his prime.
Shame, really good movie. I was able to find Dogma in like thai with english subs so i'm pretty shocked you couldn't find a translated version. Smith got greedy though and copyright bans even the english versions everywhere so i'm not too surprised honestly.
Yes I remember  but it had to be one of the three unless i'm forgetting a font. Bottom line ivo shouldn't be using accents without checking them since he was aware I had to do this for Spanish lol.
The phone has glass on it, the tablet has a thin film, everything clicks perfectly.
My ex has a diesel protector on her phone to prevent her screen from breaking that covers the edges...that was actually from her experience, but I don't really have a solution for it either as moving the text box up could cover render areas that ivo intentionally designed to show above it et cetara, and making the buttons bigger might block text...catch 22, I've been trying to think of a solution.

And to other news. I finally finished (100% without DLC) Assassin's Creed Origins. Damn, 70 hours. That's a lot, it's a bit too much. It could have been more, but at some point I noticed that clearing outposts makes no sense, because you'll be sent there anyway in some mission, and you can do it at the same time. I can't say that the story intrigued me even a little, although I liked how it was tied to real historical facts, but in the end, in my opinion, the authors couldn't catch the moment when to end it. It was supposed to end with one big cutscene after Cleopatra and Caesar's victory. The last rush through the territories is simply completely unnecessary, there are more than a dozen missions, plus the game doesn't limit you to which missions to play - main or side, so you just have to run through the plot, and then come back for the side ones... and it doesn't work. In terms of plot, this chase after the last enemy should stretch for months (storytime, not real time, for god's sake), and the side quests add to this feeling, but if you skip them (and the game is already very tiring, so you want to do it), then it's not there.
Running after question marks is fun for a while, then it becomes a kind of curse. Plus, I still didn't understand where the rocket launcher is hidden in the pyramid, I definitely remember seeing it in Serious Sam.
Plot in modern times is as strange as possible. For about 10 minutes it was unclear what and what it was about? Thank you.
Also some strange alien/future things that are here for some reason, but they are for DLC or something else - I guess they will tell me later somewhere.
Now I'm thinking about where to go next. I definitely don't want to watch the last three games in the series, this RPG part is too tiring, but I'm still interested in Odyssey, because it's essentially the same time period, so everything will be as similar as possible, and in general I love those times. However, I understand this game even much longer in time, and I'm not ready to repeat such a trick as with Origins in the near future. So, with the purchase, I was wondering whether to buy it now for -85%, or wait for the theoretical -90% that is once again possible :) Liberation, which comes in the set, is very interesting to me, but since it is now not a separate game, but only a menu item in AC3 Remastered, then both parts will have to be completed at once... They've made too many games, it's hard to figure it out, especially when it's not very interesting to play in the order of release.

Again, the earlier games did go in order of a release, with one protagonist Desmond...I would try rogue or if you care to pay for it, Syndicate. If you enjoy that stylr more then go get the original ezio triology and carry on from there

Everything from AC3 and up is kind of scattered ..before that was one long plot with that protagonist

Simt's translations are fine, even all sorts of garbage like Hitler from sausages (I forgot what it's called) distributors translate and release it in dubbing. I'm talking about our classic of literature - it's almost impossible to translate it right, because it's a mixture of two languages, very much mixed with obscene words.

Yeah I can tell...considering I related it to Jay and Silent bob with the monkey scenes :ROFLMAO:

For me, some games in the series are raising more and more questions. Unity... Rogue... Syndicate... Why are they without numbers? I didn't even know about their existence, and that there were such games in such time periods. Interesting times! I find them more interesting than the time of the original games.

You problem llaying AC now with no back history is you don't even get the main plot of it all...which it did have before.

You are a modern person i side a matrix type of scenario, by force or choice, still battling the same ancient battle you are i side the machine in present times. It makes more sense if you start at AC2 and play to AC3 at the least.
