So I finally went through my discovery queue today...mostly AAA games idk, barely open steam except for downloads these days...but I did come across a few interesting titles that weren't.

This game is about as close to a Double Dragon clone (or ripoff) that I have personally ever come across...just the first ten seconds into the first video will either give you nostalgia or make you want to vomit, depending how you take the concept

I guess you could say the same about this game and Chrono Trigger just by visuals, but then again you could likely say that about any 16-Bit JRPG with a similar style.

This one particularly caught my interest, wishlist it on spot on steam and I'm going to see if I can grab it cheap after this post since I only have the attention span of about 26 second for actual research into any game...thankfully I also have the good luck of not picking the wrong games in that half minute habit (usually) lmao.

Are you kidding me? I can't say they did this right...yet, but if they did omfg this should be VR game of the year just for the concept

This one has a demo, as soon as I get my VR headset back out of storage its going for a test drive...if it doesn't blow in VR (or even non-VR), i'll be hunting this down next sale

This game reminds me of that episode of Highlander when he gets trapped with the other immortal using technological traps and night vision to kill people.

Why is it he was like the only immortal who fought by the rules?

After like 15 situations like that you figure you'd just strap your legs with dynamite and start drop kicking people in the throat

that's not a clone nor it's a ripoff, it's a spinoff of the original River City Ransom, that predated Double Dragon and was made by the same company (Technos Japan).

Ahh, I remember this from a GA of the original, I didn't even notice it was the same game till you said something.

Again, 6 seconds into the first video there is a spinning sword attack that remind me of a literal chrono trigger attack.

Ironically I gave Stray Game of the Year on Steam anyways for being the only one I really wanted to play ...when I said I wanted to win that from AWA, I wasn't kidding...that game looks awesome.
