I just called it "pixel remaster" cause of previous remaster name for the previous FF game.
Let's be frank, the names aren't really given while making sense.
Gta trilogy got definitive edition which made everyone think it was going to be remake which turned out to be a bad remaster.
Far cry 6 is going get a GOTY edition while not winning any award & one of its dlc hasn't even come out yet.
Even Cyberpunk 2077 is going to get a GOTY edition. While it made a comeback with the edgerunner anime, it ain't even a goty contender.

I think i'd prefer the treatment from the After Years DS 3D remake, if they made it like FFVII (combat wise), they would destroy it utterly...you also tend to forget Master Materia and such (same as FFVI gave you attributes as you level up depending on esper), you can't make these things work in a non-open world game. The only reason they didn't make it open world was to sell it as 3 separate chunks for profit, its disgraceful.

Stop praising that game, its a money grab and nothing more. A Sexy money grab, but a money grab none the less....and don't you go giving anyone ideas about spitting on FFVI the same way lol.

If you like your remakes with half chopped content because it can't be implemented into a new battle system, you don't love the classic as much as you say.

FFXV battle systems worst feature was not being able to summon on command, Idk if I even seen every summon spell (including the ones with more than one) at least once...and I decimated the entire game barring the last dungeon where you get the uber invincible Cat Hood accessory if you could platform with those shitty controls (the cheat methods never worked for me) :LOL:

Can you even imagine them trying to do that in FF6 where the ENTIRE game was half based on espers and uber powerful spells.

I mean FFVII had to cut out Knight Of The Round, not because it could kill everything on screen (including omega/ultima weapon) in like 3 summons, but because it took too long and battle doesn't pause during summoning spells :ROFLMAO:

It was literally the most terrible idea for a remaster ever known, and yet you treat it like a god.

I loved FFXV, terrible summons included because thats how it was DESIGNED, FFVII got half the shit ripped out to make it that way.

I hope everyone has had and continues to have a great holiday season!

So guys remember when I said you might see me more often on here. Well that's not entirely true, while yes I have more free time I've been filling it with other stuff. House projects, helping my wife around the house, lots of quality time with the kiddos, and lots of more gaming on my awesome new steam deck!

My Favs so far on the handheld: Horizon Chase Turbo, Henry Stickman collection, and Nascar 2015 Victory Edition. The first two really sip power I could pretty easily get 6+ hrs of battery life with those!

Also I want to thank klingki for knights of honor, burningpixels for Kami, and Pygmy goat for Cossack American Conquest pack!

One more thing I won three games from steamgifts on Christmas eve/Christmas! What are the odds? Good games too: void bastards, you suck at parking, and Mafia Definitive Edition!

Anyways I have a extra key from a bundle for Mafia Definitive Edition I want to share with you all! So leave a :mad: reaction to enter! I will close entries in 24hrs, good luck!

True, they all end of getting a GOTY edition, as in the 'definitive' edition for that game...Far Cry (idk which one cause they all sucked IMO lol) deserved it just for Ubisoft spam-bot asshole move :ROFLMAO:

Still, after FFVIIR, I don't see them remaking the original in any form...I honestly wish they would, it would be better than the Remake :LOL:

EDIT:

At least unlike FFVI, it wouldn't be the 19th time I've bought the same game for seven systems, I'd be glad to pay for that remaster heh.

Really loved Wasabi, action movie + videogames+ japan + fun, it is a big win! I reccomend everybody to watch it.
