Ouch, game the fuck over. Zero chance or choice in that situation
yeah, pretty much...there's no life w/o mass heal spell, only the AfterLife 🤭
The After Years came way after and its additional, not needed. After the base game.
Yeah, I know) Just like the additional scenario for FF2 from the Dawn of Souls)
It does have less glitches...USEFUL glitches
the fact that those are glitches means that the game shouldn't be played tat way, Mistah Cheatah:cool:
all these arguments
we've argued more about DMC-DMC, but, uhh, okay...^,^
At least if someone is truly grateful, they have an idea what i want 🤷‍♂️
oh, now I got it)...
Rather get it free  (or regional rape, or whatever, don't have a fucking dollar lmao)
yeah, that one) I even don't have a f*cking dollar to create a proper PayPall account (you know, with a card), so...
already entered (y)
oh, thank you, dude!)
An I'm not insulting you or calling you out for the record...but I mean, you can't be much of a gamer if you never buy a game.

Nothing in life is truly free...the difference is understanding the cost and how far your willing to go.
I was just saying, not asking (still appreciate though). And tbh, if you knew me before I've become the resident of the Lair, you'd be surprised (like, I NEVER bought any PC game in my life till this year's February, played only free and/or the pirated ones)... 🤭
And even than, my list of completed games is like 1122 by now (600+ of 'em are java games), so you can be a gamer with the capital G not even thinking about buying something aside from the platform of choice itself (simple 'cause if you have no platform, you can't play anything). Emulation is still a God for me though.

Again using Google's simple RNG, the winners are:

Crazy Machines 3 - Kristin and Eldi
Deponia - No one (or maybe everyone, depending on your perspective)
Fury Unleashed - Besi and Garden Gnome
Congratulations to each of you! PMs going out now.

If anyone would like Deponia, let me know.
Thanks a lot SkeetSurfer. 🖤 Successfully activated. :)

Edit: Please check my keydrop on the other thread. ;)

This I don't remember (again, only one i've never played)
yeah, that one) I even don't have a f*cking dollar to create a proper PayPall account (you know, with a card), so...
You can create a paypal free, then I'll give someone a game to send you a buck. Then you'll have A FUCKING DOLLAR!!! 🎉 🥳 🎆

Yay and shit!
oh, thank you, dude!)
I got you dude...I know the feeling of being piss poor all too well, even now.

I just have to pretend i'm not once in a great while or I'd feel like this fucking struggle isn't worth it in the first place 😶

If your not half alive, your better off dead 🤷‍♂️ so I keep on trucking through the mud. Fake it to make it heh.

We all been here too :ROFLMAO:

The reason I think this place is like an addiction to me is because I came from the Freeware/Shareware days...when people actually did.

I can't even use my programming to fund myself, because everything I used to get so good at computers was cracked, hacked, or free...unless I was working for someone else (which i won't lmao--greedy corporate fucks), whatever I make is for myself, someone close who asks, or would be free.

At the absolute most I'd add an option to donate in the about box where nobody ever goes unless they need help and they're usually too pissed or stressed at that point to feel generous :ROFLMAO:

None of that advertise on load garbage everyone hates, ads, or fucking cash grab shit or guilt tripping...I can't even stand itch.io devs that do that, especially when they switch from paid to free without letting you claim a copy first (I blacklist the fuckers on spot legit)

The year is coming to its end (like you didn't know). So it's time to send away all the games i hoarded in gameplay giveaway. They can obviously be dupes but...Let's start with one key per person and change it later when noone needs them.

Two games are left from the GA: Crazy Machines Inventor's Training Camp and Sang-Froid - Tales of Werewolves. If someone wants the second key, reply.

Random act of the new year...
I was running these off my Intel HD processor graphics at the time...never intended to make a gaming rig, it was built for programming.

These games, particularly Tales Of Berseria (the cloud shadows were brutal on my temps lmao) made me realize I built a gaming rig without even trying and I desperately needed to ditch my playstation and put a GPU in my PC :ROFLMAO:

P.S.

The Last Remnant is the last game you want from Square-Enix lol.

I'm bit less present on the forum, I was busy those days plus my main laptop is having big problems, can't boot Win from there atm. I need to find some spare time to fix it. I think it should be the hard drive that started to have some error sectors and now it I guess it is corrupted even the Windows installation. I was thinking to replace the hdd with ssd and adding more ram so I can have a little upgrade of my lappy, but because I never changed any part inside laptop I should be very careful. I hope I can backup something from my laptop. Previous days when windows booted it was veeeeery slow and each simple action like opening a file took ages. There is a folder if I try to open it my pc freezes so I think this is the proof my hd is gone. But I want to try to recover something from it with some live distro.
My laptop has 8 gb, (4gb soldered + 4gb), I should upgrade to 20gb, I leave 4gb and ad 16gb more. The 4gb soldered ram is 2133 mhz so I have to find 16gb with 2133 mhz or do you think if it is a little bit more like 2400 or more will be ok? Maybe @WhatNitrous knows it.
The ssd for laptop should be, the m.2 type so I will go with 500 or 1tb.
Now I'm writing from my second older laptop, I hope I will fix soon my main lappy.

First things first, if it has 4gb (two sticks I assume), it can likely only be upgraded to 8gb, if you wanna drop me a PM with the brand, model, etc and you can wait a day, I'll check the max specs and help you with whatever i can (including recovering whatever data survived), if you have a Windows boot disk or you can make a System Repair disk of the same version of windows it "might" relocate the sectors and repair the installation temporarily if your lucky.

If your not hearing 'clunk clunk' while it loads, its likely not the HDD....laptop drives sound like shit when they're dying.

On a plus note if you have a solid thick laptop, they're pretty easy and generally safe to do things like this yourself.

Like i said, hit me up and i'll help however I can dude.

EDIT:

Windows boot media can load without a drive from external USB or DVD....you can literally get into recovery mode (with any windows version as long as its 32 bit or 64 bit depending on the system) with NO drive in the system.

First thing you wanna do is that or swap the drives between the laptops to be sure its not the actual hardware.

yes I watched some tutorials on youtube it should be not so hard to change pieces but because it is first time, I hope it will be fine.
when I boot it the computer noise is pretty low I can hear "clunk clunk" and the fan on. I think it is normal sound of loading.
Thank you for your help I will send you a pm.

If your hearing clunk clunk and you didn't before, 99% chance its the drive OR the connection to the drive, a loose sata/power connection can cause that as well. You want to check those first BEFORE you keep trying to load windows from the drive, external media is fine though.

A repair disc/usb stick or windows install disc might get you in long enough to easily backup or clone your drive if it can't repair it, but I would check the connectors first since that can actually cause damage if they're not in right.

As long as you have an external drive big enough you can literally copy your entire windows installation as a direct copy (to an HDD, not to an SSD) and even the Windows will stay genuine (I can also get you your windows product code if that fails) as long as you can get into recovery mode at least.

First tip, don't wear anything that attracts static and always touch REAL metal first if you can't get your hands on a static wristband, wear sneakers and stay off carpet...never keep the battery in or have the power cord in (thats an obvious, most ppl forget the battery though heh)

As long as you don't static zap it, its unlikely you can damage anything EXCEPT the drive, and thats a matter of just not bending the piece attached to the sata/power cables (cheap as shit), but still simple.
