On a plus note, I did get a Galaxy S23 Ultra for 'chicken scratch' payments today.
On a bad note, I'm still using my fucking blackberry @dblh3lix :ROFLMAO:
At least you can play many interesting games on it. Even slightly better than the java ones)
LMAO XDDDDDDDD
Steam Spring Sale starts today and New Badge coming
What's needed to be done for the badge??🤩
Man, I love such urban legends! And you sure a great storyteller too. We haven't any legend like this, because arcade machines in the Soveit era wasn't as good looking as Donkey Kong (lol), but we've had those handheld games:

Which, as I found out later, was a shameless clone of Nintendo Game&Watch. And there was a legend that if you will score 1000 points - it will show a cartoon! I never believed that, because when you first turn it on it blinks with all possible pictures on it:

But many boys and girls believed in that and tried hard to score
Funny enough, in my 3rd year in school I've discovered gaming clubs for myself for the first time. for the most part it was feeled with Mega Drives but there were also a couple of PS1 already. So the story is... there was some guys that stated that in PS1 port of Quake II when you're out of ammo on the default blaster you'll get a melee attack in the form of chainsaw.🤭
Oviously, it was never the case, but now when I'm thinking about it...maybe they weren't outright lying. Maybe they just confused first Quake with this one. And first game had the chainsaw in it indeed.

thanks, Vic!!)
thanks legolas, is it steam key or direct download?
From the GX, it's always a direct download, but it stays in you GX library, so...still good enough)
And the old cards are useless... Some trashing in the inventory to do then.
I still need three cards from Wizard's World to have the collection completed though...😕

It's hard to say. I mean, at least with console games you can't just outright lie about what will happen if you beat the game because someone will beat it sooner or later. With arcades, that's harder.
My favourite "urban legend" was about Ghosts 'n Goblins. There was a rumour that if you beat that game, you'll summon a demon in your home and it'll kill your whole family - ah, that "lovely" childish imagination! 🤣

Obviously, nobody was scared because we all would die in less than 5 minutes. As probably anyone knows nowadays, that's one of the most unforgiving games ever. Dark Souls is a child's play compared to Ghouls 'n Goblins. So, maybe that curse was true? We'll never know...
