I never knew lenovo counted as awa affiliate for ARP. Aren't they competitors, technically speaking? So confusing, lol.
Lenovo makes better laptops IMO.
Oh my bad.. Ben from Lenovo has nothing to do with Alienware arp.. better go edit my post (done now)
(Im having a life crisis.. sorry..not thinking straight..)
Wait, you are you saying you are getting a second play at the atom sliding puzzle quest?
I'm only seeing complete after day one, no further plays possible.
Nice list, there were so many cool beat em up in 90s , I this list Final Fight, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, TMNT were my favourites.
I would some more games that comes to my mind now:
- Captain Commando
- Double Dragon
- Vendetta
- Streets of Rage
- Golden Axe
- Altered Beast
- Shinobi
- Strider
- Kung Fu Master
- Asterix & Obelix
Yet...people do, by the population. An then idolize people who memorize the maps and pick tactical points like a real war with no risk
I'd love to see one of those streamers get dropped in a real combat zone and shit themselves because they didn't know the territory, waiting for that 'entrance' kill on themselves
I loaded it up just because someone said it would run like shit, wasn't the case for me...although the initial load was a nightmare. But once it did, I couldn't get the train to move hahaha
Not much of a railroad fan, grabbed it for something to do with my old man, he loves them.
hahah I was stucked too somewhere that's why I deleted it, and you were lucky it runs smooth too you. I would like to like it but I couldn't I though it was relaxing simulation game as ETS2.
For me its easy to die in any FPS, always thought I'd be a boss at those games because i like to shoot IRL, total opposite, hence my original comment.
If I got dropped in a war zone, I'd be jumping out of a tree with a rock to bludgeon someone to death for a gun and go gorilla warfare, "upgrading" my weapons all the way home
Don't get me wrong, I don't think war is fun or a joke, but I'm a survivor...I'd have no problem mentally in that atmosphere, I see a gun and I'm not sure its friendly, I shoot first.
Me I think I'm good with fps games but only old ones, I mean 90s fps. I'm not good with modern ones, I tried Counter-Strike GO and I deleted the same day, it is full of op russians kills me as soon I spawn not fun at all. I played Apex Legends which I enjoyed a lot, I'm not so good there too, I prefer playing support, but at least I don't die as I spawn lol.

I didn't want to mention Double Dragon because I thought I'd use it in another one of mine "Once upon a time..." - teenagers in the '80s didn't have so much erotic material as today so whenever someone would play Double Dragon, all other guys would gather for that famous intro upskirt panty shot.
Yes, every arcade machine has some sort of BIOS (not really a BIOS but you probably understand what I'm saying). You can change difficulty, set the machine in free mode (no coins/tokens needed), number of lives...
The MAME emulator is so realistic that it emulates even that.
Not EVERY. The older one didn't, I had a table top DK Jr. at home when I was young like I said...and believe me if that could have been done on it--it would have.
you mean "any 90's beta'em up" hommage or there're some particular references?
Funny Fact #1: When this game was ported on SNES there was no multiplayer and you could choose only between Cody and Haggar for some reason. And only some time later down the line they've released another version that was called "Final Fight Guy", where...there was still no multiplayer and instead of choice between two vastly different characters you could play only as Guy himself. XDD
Didn't know about this ported snes version, the artwork looks very poor, it almost looks a like a fake copy of Final Fight lol
I know this version instead, but I don't like the artwork so much too
Completed java port of the arcade (pretty faithful I must say), then played arcade original (through emulation, of course). Now I'm planning to play NES port 'cause it had some interesting changes and additions to the formula^,^
The very first VR setup I ever heard of (Idk how much record of this exists since it was never released), was designed as a sex simulation...go fucking figure
I'd actually love to watch GOOD movies in VR, but they are few and far between...can you imagine these scenes in VR with the 'falling' feeling and its your body concept?
I had a 'friend' of a friend i let stay at my place who was godly at it...no lie it was impressive.
He was the one who owned one (for PS2 IIRC or PS3) and it was the MOST annoying thing ever invented for a console IMO. I was a drunk at the time and didn't give a shit about anything...never got hangovers (so wasn't a headache thing) and even on the bottom level apts with a concrete floor I had to tell them they couldn't use it in my place anymore
But...that same kid I put up for almost two yrs rent free swung around a corner using a doorway for momentum with a roll of arcade tokens clenched in his first an sucker punched me in my own house when I gave him a months warning I was moving and they needed to find somewhere else to stay.
They broke four of my back teeth and knocked me through the air about 9ft backwards into my couch...I did that ill no hand ninja hop off my back and up onto my feet the second I hit the couch and he was already long gone (fucker was fast), swore if I EVER seen him again i'd break both his kneecaps so he could never play again.
Proof of how ungrateful some people you help can be when your no longer useful
Food for thought when helping out people who don't appreciate it, I should have thrown him out the first time I told him to never come back, but I did it for MY friend who I was putting up as well...he was a good dude.
Those are entirely different because your body is actually feeling the motion as well (If I'm understanding what you mean, I'm thinking disney style)...which make a huge difference, kind of like people who get seasick
Any VR where your not standing on solid ground can bother people compared to just normal things in life...but it depends on the person really.
Make sure you get one thats PC capable as well as stand alone, regardless what kind you get...personally if I were to buy another now, I'd go with a Vive, the tracking is way better and I FB keeps killing headset support on a whim as well as changing its terms over Meta.
Which is going to turn out to be social garbage anyways, a sad failed attempt at a somewhat Matrix/SOA type reality. The beginning of the end, but a very sad beginning, we are years away from getting THAT concept right...it'll be another 3 headsets (they kill off) before they even get a terrible one up and running decent heh.
Vive is much more pricey, but one headset has survived 3 different Oculus versions, give or take...and you can add alot more small but great accessories like finger tracking (Iron Man), or simple tracking strips to tracking ANYTHING in VR (think ashtray, coffee mug, etc) where the Rift at least has nothing of the sort, the Quest added AR to see the background but it sucks from what i've seen.
I'd need to buy the Vive Base Station to add those things and thats what the big cost difference actually is
Thanks
Welcome, thanks for fixing my quote (edit--you dide, my bad, ty)

So ... what are you farming with channel points? Is there special giveaways not on their site or raffle? I looked everywhere but didn't see anything special...

Thank you very much! I added it! I never heard about it but it looks really interesting, it seems to be inspired to my first and favourite Nes game Faxanadu !!

They used to host gleam giveaways on Tuesdays and Thursdays and later would have a limited number of keys for the same game available through twitch channel points and live raffles. For a while, they were giving away games such as Uragun, Eldertrail, Hell is Others, Midnight Ghost Hunt, etc but the only games available for the past couple of months have been Train Valley 2 and Startpoint Gemini Warlords, both of which are very common and cheap.
Some people continue to farm points hoping for something good to show up. It's not clear if that'll happen.
XDDDD
Funny Fact #2: of all the Final Fight playable characters Guy still have the most prominent role in modern CAPCOM games. Other two characters from the same series are Hugo and Poison, but they wasn't playable there))
