By the way... I recently came across a game made in Brazil, which is essentially a... good clone of Resident Evil It feels like the games of the classic series, where you have to walk around the same locations a lot, but with the first person camera, like in the last games. The game is definitely not a new word in the genre, but it looks good, all the mechanics were copied quite accurately, only the plot did not work out a bit at the end, they pulled a whole bunch of genre clichés that could not harmoniously fit into one story.

didn't new it was made in brazil, i'm not a fan of horror/ zombie games( only exceptions, like re4, daysgone)( and some 2d i played in my old smartphome, i don't really remember playing others, just one that i don't remember the name and i played as i a child and got fear from playing it from a scarejump that a fucking zombie or demon got out of a bathroom on fire XD

If you have enough GPU resources, its usually recommended...in rare situations it can make things look worse, but not often. I leave mine on at all times.

I dont even remember where I heard about Little Nightmares. Maybe a recent bandai sale..? I forgot I'd bought it and noticed it in my games last night. Tired and curious I opened it up..

You're in the dark while you play. (The game page suggests turning off your lights for full immersion but I couldnt be bothered getting up to go to the light switch ).

Sometimes you can flick on your ciggie lighter for a little glow around you but sometimes not at the same time as you're pressing other buttons like run then jump. I was leaning closer and closer to my screen hoping to see better rolleyes: ) but didnt realise how close I'd gotten till one of the slugs screamed. By this point my ear was right next to a speaker on my desk. Oh boy did I jump! Poor little Six died.

I get lost easily in games. As in I dont remember where the f I am or where I'm supposed to go/how to move on so I snuck a peek at a walkthru then returned to my game

...... annnnnnd this is when I encountered an issue with my mouse pointer disappearing! To make things worse I couldnt select things in the game with controller input anymore. Click on the task bar. Hover over chrome, select that window. Nope Im in the game again. Try it with the notepad I had open. Nope Im returned to the game. Dammit I'll have to force close the game, so hover over it in the task bar and click the X... nope Im back in the game. ctrl-shift-esc .. yay now the taskman is open but it minimised...? Oh. Im back in the game (which did NOT close). Okay close steam then.. hidden menu. Right Click. Close steam. Nope guess where I am..? Staring a Resume, Restart from checkpoint, etc.. but cant select any of them. Urgh. Too tired now. Hold down power button. PC turns off. Turn on pc. Yep back in windows. Im going to bed.

Wake up. Potter round the house. Decide to play roblox before my gang gathers to play fall guys. Launched roblox, started playing the game. Went back to the page to check what badges I dont have. Return to the game.....and the mouse pointer is gone. The game tells me I can press B on my controller to close that little menu in the game. No B did not work. Neither did all my other frantic button presses.

This time my pointer DOES work in other apps. Hrmm.

Now Im pretty patient but after spending 20 mins lining up my mouse pointer from that <<----- screen then carefully moving it over to this screen to press an X... well Im all outta patience now. Closed roblox.......and my pointer works!!??!! Just not IN games.. What a nightmare! (pun intended).

I'm pointing fingers at a certain app I use but dammit it's the weekend. EDIT: omg its not where you all are.. lol theres hope!

I doubt this was caused by the game after a reboot, it would need to launch Steam before itself (usually--DRM/Design based), if your talking about a controller app going screwy Idk what to tell you, I don't use any of that 3rd party stuff.

Its not a controller app but it IS an app that updated that I suspect is the problem. I've reported it. Also yeah I dunno how I thought it was friday earlier.. I've lost a day too lol.

I don't think there is any particular order, your monitor would likely be the first step if its optional, mine just turns on...windows has an option to correct how videos look, but I think thats the only option it has.

Maybe it does have an HDR setting, I don't remember since I never shut it off...but the order you do it in shouldn't matter at all, just turn them all on (for whatever you want to use it with) in your monitor settings, windows, and in game.

One might be locked if you don't turn on the other, its hardware dependent there

My monitor shows HDR Enabled/Disabled when it turns on and off in the top right corner...it also needs to be in gaming mode with a high refresh rate, which locks normal video presets (like the fake HRD or Reading Mode) so make sure your running above 60hz if you have any trouble turning it on.

my monitor have it it is an lg ultragear 27pol, it have but i never knew how to use it XD, i never change the monitor configs, i just activate the aim sometimes


is this a steam signal for me to buy red dead redemption II? need more 10,10 to buy it on steam XD( saddly i lost when it costed 78 reais by a week =/)

yes I have only one menu button, as well as an RGB dial...if you can turn it on it Windows, I'll walk you through with my monitors button presses, I'm just not going to do it unless we know your GPU supports it.

so, after some months of practicing i can tell that the "windows key" can do some magic, at least for my device under win10 :
sometime when a game freeze it will become difficult to return to the win desktop, i found that hitting the win key is more efficient/gentle than the usual "alt-tab" gesture, probably because it does not reload the all desktop graphix and some sneaking processes...also if after you can't close the game by the usual manner (taskbar or task manager) you can try to launch a "second/parallel desktop" and use a program like Process Explorer to kill the process of the game or steam itself...
