I think the bots are all too busy grabbing all the keys from the giveaway threads (damn bot ninjas). This, the youtube links earlier...I'm starting to think your a ChatGPT bot![]()
Some wouldnt ever try to learn, but with the game attached, who knows. Some just like to try to learn vocabulary, something like influent with a game attached. Yes, google translate can also give a very basic translation and the app can translate using camera pointed at text like on screen text in a game or pointing to an image somewhat already, so thats pretty cool such as I've used it for a couple ancient games that were never translated and couldnt copy the screen text to at minimum understand the menu options and some text shown when you talk to people or do a task. Works mainly when text is static and not moving. Im sure all the new translation devices will do similar. That might help such as burningpixels mention of menu options in another language is why I mentioned that. Also I've run across some steam games that are another language only and dont look like they ever will be translated, visual novels, and possibly could be tried with those if you really wanted to try that game but never did due to the other language, but yes its not like a translated game (which also can be very poor) and so for the patient only as it adds lots of time.I really wouldn't recommend this for a total beginner, but it's funny to picture a total newb trying that. Don't want to totally knock it though, this approach is fine if you've already studied a bunch and need practice while learning new Words and Kanji at the same time. For a total beginner, you need games that specifically target that market, the Learn Japanese games we talked about last time are perfect. If you don't know any Words, Kanji, or Grammar at all, it would be like running an entire book through google translate (line-by-line) and trying to learn the meaning of each Word and Kanji by repetition while guessing how the Grammar works. It's not so bad if you know a bunch of the words and some Kanjis/Grammar to begin with, by the process of elimination (eliminating the words you already know) you can figure out what the other Kanjis mean, because the game will likely repeat them and you'll learn by context when Google Translate keeps giving the same definition to the same Kanji over and over as you play (same for the words), but the Grammar you'll have to study separately. This will easily turn a 16 hour game into a 160 hour game (perhaps longer).
Yes it seems like pricing on delisted keys is more like ebay and etsy where people put up things sometimes at ridiculous prices just to see if anyone buys or maybe with a crazy high price and best offer accepted to gauge demand when they dont know what something is worth and dont want to auction, but usually never will sell at that price. At least you can search sold listings to gauge value however, and research older sold listings. If you went just by listed items but not yet sold, some people might get the wrong impression of actual value. I think auction would be better for delisted keys but with a longer timeframe for these type of keys, maybe indiegala can have someday.Probably can't be bought because on the websites says steam gift so probably no keys for it..
Everytime a game gets removed from steam prices go brrr even if the game is bad or not working
