So...seems the suggested fix is getting rid of g-hub and using the old game software app :ROFLMAO:

This is reay funny because I saw the video titled as fastest fix ever...and I knew thats exactly what they were going to suggest.

I didnt know what app replaced it though heh.

Long demo.
You get the prologue and, after that, you get 3 in-game days or until you reach a certain story point, I think.
I stopped there after the warning, no point in investing more time.
Gonna be a bit of a wait on my end then...i'm between about 4 things right now, the priority being if I want to send my wheel back for the older model. The gaming app doesn't detect my wheel but has profiles for 90 games I want lol.

On a plus note I just got it working for practically the oldest game I have (the prized Dirt 2), no issues whatsoever after a quick setup and a fresh install, so maybe its just Origin that sucks

I launched Assetto Corsa last time and the thing was on full throttle and went down when I pushed the gas pedal ?!?!? right...so even getting off the starting line with a clutch i've never used was impossible lol. Dirt 2 working gives me some hope though. Maybe I can do it like steam and set the wheel to launch the EA app instead of NSF directly.

Actually, better idea...have it setup for when Steam launches and see if THAT works.

Btw, if you plan to launch Refanzio again, beware...it just patched the whole friggin game demo on me

Well S.O.B. NFS: The Run recognized my wheel outright and even added my shifter...why do all new games suck?

NFS: Payback

Now it magically just...works. Wonder what the hell went wrong last time.

Problem now, I keep pushing my rolling chair back trying to brake...which practically breaks the concept of using it. Need some wheel stoppers before I even bother unfortunately.

Had to try with a controller to make sure it wasnt me

Still got it heh.

Fuk'n got it!!!

Downloaded Nfs Most Wanted which has the same control file and a calibration option to stop the stupid pedal from being every button, set that game up and copied the config over to NFS Hot Pursuit...all good in the hood.

As ridiculous as that is, they exist. If you look at the screen, you'll see he's on a flat track. There is absolutely no need to be thrown around like that. Maybe in an offroad sim, but this is a case of wondering if you could, instead of if you should.
In either case the answer should have been no, but as we can all see...people with more money than brains are a rampant disease these days.

I would have thought he was playing Dirt 5 to be honest, it has a track that does make you feel like that even with a controller. One of the challenges was to maintain 50mph while doing it, I doubt many people have been able to accomplish that feat, myself included.

Aww hell no, that would feel like crashing...not driving. I need one that stands still....but no way do I want one that does the hokey pokey :ROFLMAO:
Honestly, I wouldn't even want one that tilts, I can personally say I've never taking my wheels off the ground while driving and slanted my car sideways. Maybe a motor that went left to right fast if I took a fast break between sides of the road--which i'm actually quite fond of doing between traffic lol. That would feel realistic, tilting is for like jet ski's and motorcycles. Possibly a slight tilt forward or backward if you really slammed the breaks or punched the gas and popped the clutch.

Kind of pissed you can't get a car to do this 👆 in a game.

You can float gears, but I don't believe they allow you to straight skip gears like you can IRL, its risky as all hell and not a move I've ever tried...which is why it would be nice to try in a game :ROFLMAO: and i've never seen a car go off the ground from the line aside from cutscenes maybe.
