Robes were free on the calendar last time, so if you manage this, you'll actually be pretty lucky. Twitch artifact, Steam +15, then daily, and robes as well for the set? Pretty good. That will be the 15% discount set, as well as giving you a bonus +5 (x2) per week from Steam quests. Pointless bonus, your name turns pink.

No, it's forced, and it stays pink. I'm not sure if it gets overwritten if you add a new set. Mine has been permanently red since I use the +10% ARP set.

Even when I remove the artifacts that made it red, it stays red. I don't have the pink or blue sets to see if it gets changed once I equip them, or if they are permanent or not.

If they give out the robes, I'll have the pink set, and if they let us buy the Steam +12, I'll have the blue set. I can test then.

Yes, interesting choice, but okay. Most default to blue, although I have seen black. Not sure how they get black, since new accounts seem to be blue on the relays. Moderators are green. Red, pink and blue are from artifacts.
