Is there anything you can't put in a legal document?
You can probably put anything you like, the question is whether or not it's enforceable. The main issue is that no one actually reads the ToS. Contracts require informed consent. One thing many companies are doing is trying to force people to agree to arbitration, instead of going to court.

Disney recently tried to claim that a Disney+ streaming trial meant that they couldn't be sued for an unrelated restaurant death. Similar claims are being made about large electronics, where the box contains a similar clause. The problem being delivery people often remove the box before it enters people's homes, so they never even see it, let alone agree to it.

Just a joke, but a point well made nonetheless, you remember I was just in court dealing with this.

The real problem is actually if the law will enforce the law...which is usually a no unless its a mass media frenzy. System is worthless.

"This Promotion is open only to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are thirteen (13) years of age or older and legal residents of Australia (excluding ACT), New Zealand, France, United Kingdom and Germany who are sixteen (16) years of age or older as of November 20, 2024"

For once we get the low tier 🥳 🇺🇸

My faith is restored.

He didn't look like that. I remember telling him one evening after the third or fourth jar of the wine: "J. C., I'm old and maybe this is just a rambling of a drunk man, but I think you shouldn't trust Judas. That little prick likes luxury and he just bought a new horse."

The rest is history. Or mythology. Or both.
