so once a game is delisted, trading cards you already have can vanish ?Today is the last day you can buy forza horizon 4, make sure to sell your steam trading cards before the game gets delisted
No, but they can no longer be sold on the market. Can still trade them or turn them into gems.so once a game is delisted, trading cards you already have can vanish ?

Yes, this. Unsold cards will eventually be given back to you, so they don't stay on sale forever. The reason they can't be listed is the Not Marketable tag.The cards put up for sale remain till they're gone, no new obes can be listed.
I didnt know that part, evidently I'm not the only one who caught this...but you actually tried itUnsold cards will eventually be given back to you, so they don't stay on sale forever.
I just sell all the cards I get, but some people undercut you, and I don't check. I list and forget. After maybe six months without being sold, the cards just end up in your inventory again.I didnt know that part, evidently I'm not the only one who caught this...but you actually tried it![]()
Popular delisted cards would have value on the gray market, just not Steam's marketplace. Steam also don't get a cut of trades, so they're throwing away money there.I thought steam did it intentionally to raise the value like limited edition baseball cards or key markets to be honest...since it makes no sense in any other realistic scenario, but it seems the reason is to prevent that same exact thing instead.
No one is ever getting back their banana hours.Makes you wonder what would happen to all those banana hours.
Ya happens to me too, but I don't sell them all and I don't recall ever being notified of any being returned, I likely never noticed since I have cards I'm making badges for ironically...with a totally private accountI just sell all the cards I get, but some people undercut you, and I don't check. Again, totally private account so the thought never even crossed my mind. I didnt even know there was a market for cards besides SteamPopular delisted cards would have value on the gray market, just not Steam's marketplace. Steam also don't get a cut of trades, so they're throwing away money there.
Also last chance to grab this, I bought the Ultimate Edition to get the Lego Add-On so I thought I had everything...but this free one wasnt included and I almost missed it.Today is the last day you can buy forza horizon 4, make sure to sell your steam trading cards before the game gets delisted
There goes that get rich slow schemeView attachment 20735
That's what it shows in the market history. After about six months, you just get the card back in your inventory. Listed in May and expired in Nov.
You can also craft your own packs from gems, even if the game is delisted. So if you despise human interaction, it is still possible to get the badges without the need to engage in it.There goes that get rich slow scheme![]()
Ya but that leaves me you with MORE unsellable cards, I do use the market so its not that horrible until you can't sell or buy them. You can also craft your own packs from gems, even if the game is delisted. So if you despise human interaction, it is still possible to get the badges without the need to engage in it.
Obvious way of the world...entire thin air value of crypto in a nutshell right here. The rarer and more desirable something is, the more you'll get for it. That's partly down to the game's popularity, but some badges are more popular than others, ignoring the game's popularity. Some cards have much worse drop rates than others. Some games also have items, like backgrounds that drop from packs and are popular.
The owners of gala?Is anyone getting rich here? No, probably not, but just like the banana things, some people make money, a lot of people hear about it, and then a lot of people waste time trying. The devs and Steam getting their cut from every transaction are the only ones really making any money.
Agreed. If you're going to that much effort, you might as well just get a job or something. Same with farming cards. I always farm cards on my account, but I don't bother creating multiple accounts to do it.even using alts here to snag like dollar keys seems like more effort than its worth to me

Part of the fun of winning random stuff is that it's random. I've never heard of a lot of the games I won, and never would have if I didn't get them for free.
