I don't disagree at all, don't get me wrong...but to call it spyware and review every game they've ever made with that in mind is a bit harsh...I guess I take it even worse now as a legit game dev myself, especially knowing there are some trolls who will do anything to make something look worse than it is for almost zero reason. An attack that will disappear in a few days.

It is still annoying that companies change their TOS, add DRM in updates, delete their games, censor their products in updates, and add launchers in updates. I created myself a curator just to keep up with the latter three. They piss me off the most.
If an AV actually nabbed it as verified spyware or you had proof it was...that'd be entirely different, but going by TOS which are basically their legal 'you cant sue us for this' that may just be worded piss poorly or over the top to be safe, or over a launcher being added even....as much as it might piss you off, just seems a bit much.
In the case of borderlands its not gonna matter, the series has its fans and always will...its a much bigger deal for new games and smaller companies than a series of that sort. It's well known enough to have a player base already, hell its probably past its high point already lol
