If it was so simple for humans then the AI should still find the right answer, it was trained by idiots after all
It would be simple to get AI to do math. That's not how LLMs work though. The problem is the unrealistic expectation. They do some things very well, and other things they get quite wrong.

They make AI slop, and lots of it. Above is a recommended book list. Half the books did not exist, but the AI just made them up, gave a brief summary, and then reviewed the non existent books as if they were real.

This was posted in multiple articles, but since no one actually reads anything, most people didn't notice the list was fake. That's what LLM AI does, it provides you with vaguely plausible slop.

My point wasn't to get the AI to do math, but as a large language model AI is really a giant database, shouldn't most people training it have been able to do simple math? lol

Christ he wasnt even asking it to do math...he was asking it to know which number had a higher value...you can't do much anywhere in the world without being able to pull up that general knowledge. Thats being able to count to ten and tell which number has more letters, nothing should be making decisions without being able to achieve that.

Yes.

No. People are stupid. Also, they don't train AI. They give it a giant database of data, then it gives an answer that seems vaguely plausible. They have no idea how it's reaching the answer.

All the current LLM generative AI does is give answers based on their data. They don't do math, or look up book titles and review them. They just give an answer that is vaguely similar to similar answers in their database.

The problem isn't that AI is stupid. The problem is that people are stupid. We are nowhere near AGI.

They were highering people to train AI as a Facebook AD, I doubt I was singled out and targeted for that but who knows  (this was specifically for LLMs)

Stupid people making stupid AI because they don't know what the hell they're even making...sounds about right to me.

Not HL, but a decent deal if you want to own it on Steam too, plus if I'm not mistaken, there are no Steam keys for this game, only Steam gift on keyshops, plus you can also get the DLC for 2.91.

I bought it off fanatical so i'm surprised if no shops have it tbh.
