have people think you have friends or something.
That...was never one of my concerns

Honestly I hate notifications on steam when they're for like new card drops or something...having a friends list would probably drive me mad.

I game when I don't want to be social lol...probably explains why my gaming took a hit ever since coming here.

Also, X number of your friends own this game. Not interested. As far as Steam gifts, and Humble links, those would be less than 1% of my wins. Most people just give out keys, and generally do it fairly promptly, but others are slow.

If the GA has 50+ keys, then you have the option of autosending the keys, but for whatever reason, they have not given this option to GAs with less.

Yeah, just think of all the blondes, redheads and brunettes sending you friend requests and nude pics...
That IS actually one of my concerns :ROFLMAO:

So, if someone still needs Golf Gang, I have a spare key. I think that was the 4th or 5th most often found game in Fanatical Mystery Bundles over the last two years because it was a regular in my giveaways.
Ya, exactly where I got it too. I was trying to figure out what to do with mine lol.

It was also in Humble, choice and one of the Charity Bundles I believe.

Does anyone here still idle HSGF? It's starting to feel like a huge waste of time and energy.

I mainly like to use it to get some of the cheaper games from recent bundles. I wanted to grab a couple from the current HB choice, and guess what? All sold out! He stocks 100s of GOG keys and other useless stuff like Boomtown Deluxe but very few of what I really want. Or the games are incredibly expensive. I'm not going to spend 200,000 clams on something that might get bundled tomorrow and be worth $1.

And he constantly changes the way things work. Just doesn't feel worth it to keep my laptop running for these meager rewards. Is anyone else still watching his stream or am I the only chump?

Yes.

New things are added all the time, but once you get all the cheap things, then it means you need to spend more and more time to get anything.
Just doesn't feel worth it to keep my laptop running for these meager rewards.
It's okay to stop if you don't think it's worth your time.

I know, but I prefer to keep watching and complaining about it.
That works too.
Whining is fun!
In my case, I leave my PC on anyway, so idling Twitch makes no difference. My previous TVs had VGA input, and would turn the TV on when it had a signal, and off when it didn't. This meant when I put the PC to sleep with a single button on my remote, both TV and PC would turn on or off at the same time.

Since my current TV doesn't have VGA, I'm forced to use HDMI. Not only does that mean the auto on/off function no longer works, if there's any disturbance in the electrical signal, the TV goes black for a second. This never happened with VGA. So modern technology, making things worse. Whine/rant over.

It is, and since a year or 2 even. At one point i stopped doing everything that was not good enough, and that was only satisfying my FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) that i'm fighting and have been holding back quite successfully these last months.

I liked playing his quiz and earning points that way, even though some questions were plainly wrong. I didn't really need any of his cheaper games because they were mostly from HC, so I was saving them. And then he introduced different Tiers for countries - based on fuck knows what - and I found myself in the bottom Tier. So, I said "Fuck you!", spent all the points on the games I gave away here, in the Lair, and left for good.
