I'm not sure why some people were convinced it was random. What is clear though, if you're not early, you'll be put in the queue after those people.

In my case, I went to the site earlier too, but just got in normally. I checked every so often, and was then put into the queue to form the actual queue. Once that ended, my position was 5.6k.

If you thought you saw absolutely everything from Feudalife Challenge bugs, you could be surprised, just as I was a few minutes ago.

So, I started the challenge - watering plants. I finished 16/16 and just let the timer run out. Suddenly, a message appeared. It informed me that I won 125 silver. I thought IG finally fixed messaging because it only appeared if you won the key or failed the challenge. I hit "Play again", but the screen was frozen - a sure sign that IG didn't fix anything. So, I started the new challenge from the IG homepage and... Feudalife informed me that I have a malus because I won the key?!

Well done, IG! This level of a completely broken site should warrant you a place in the Guinness World Records.👏

Oh no, now it's counted as a win just like before. I guess it was a bug for a while, and they only noticed when their inventory of winnable games started running low on keys, much sooner than expected, leaving them at risk of running out of stock again.

I earned a good amount of gala silver and a few keys, but winning the second game key yesterday was really challenging, and it took me about 3 hours...

Oh, it was written before you joined. But yeah, some users had problems and couldn’t claim their keys.

Yeah, way too much, I usually don't count them.

My favorite bug was back in 2020, if I remember correctly, when you could win 6-7 keys or even more just for a single win. Back then, the game was easier, and you could win up to six times if you created giveaways or bought games. (Compared to the current count of 2, creating giveaways or purchasing a game increases it to 3.)

Does anyone remember that?

I count the rounds. There are 7 different games in a full round. So, 8x7 plus some more and...

There's always a chance for it to happen; I just don't understand how they messed up like that before.
Back then, without the SteamDB extension, I couldn’t tell if I had won a bad key for those rare games, but I do recall winning bad keys as well. If I remember correctly, it might have been in December—perhaps a Santa’s gift?

Oh yeah.

And yes, winning useless silver is now adding to the malus, this game is ended.
