I would agree except GOG has no controller support, and half the games due to no DRM, I still play GOG through Steam or I wouldnt play it at all.

And GOG of all things prevents NSFW :p

It's GOG that is fighting against the bans of NSFW content. After all, they were giving away an NSFW bundle for free not so long ago.

No, it is free, and if you read the announcement, it is intentional. What it's not, is a retail license. I know Pax likes to add free licenses so that it adds to the value of his Steam account, but I'd prefer the opposite, a retail license of an otherwise free game.

The Space Pilgrim games have been free multiple times, and there were keys to the first one available, but I haven't managed to get a copy yet. If I just wanted to play the game, I could use the free version, but to add to my library, I'd prefer a retail license.

What it is...to me...on mobile, is worthless. I can't claim it in any of those ways. So its trash...and idrc which kind of license it is, as long as its on my account.

I havent installed ASF for the last hundreds of free games, don't intend to start for this one...not adding to the steam page shows the dev is a douche anyways :LOL: and the entite poiint of claiming it was to play it.

If you read the announcement, they offered Steam keys to people that provided screenshots of owning the game on other platforms, but people farmed keys, and sold them on third party platforms. 30% of their total sales came from these free keys.

One reason for doing it this way is that I'm pretty sure these kinds of licenses don't add to the review score. $0.00 add to account retail licenses do count. Maybe they're afraid that people that get it for free will place no value in it, and be overly harsh in the reviews.
