Got another idea to make the drawing much easier - maybe we should create a private group on the Steamgifts? co2no could be an admin, no special rules except to be kind to all people, we would apply here to be a part of the group, and then everyone could create a draw whenever they want to... Just an idea, what do you think?
Indeed a very good idea and it also saves up effort for tracking however I am not sure if everyone here qualifies for the $100 account worth set by Steamgifts. When my game count was over 800 my worth was only I think $130 or was it $180

Steamgifts seems to discount the games by a big margin since they are mostly bundled games. 😫

But if we have more stamp of approvals certainly we could look into that ;)

I am against it. I am not sure I will qualify. And there are people who have a limited account (like DarthSmurf). They would for sure not qualify.

That indeed may be a problem. But is it not so that the value of the steam account needed to set up an account on steamgifts (100USD) is calculated from the real value of steam games? Does it count some game as *0.15 (bundled) or *0.0 (given for free)? Maybe something changed, IDK...

Good idea, at least we can try.

BTW! SteamGifts seems to have revised something and retrospectively transferred several games to the 0CV category, at least Ethan Meteor Hunter got there (both Regular and Deluxe and DLC separately), so check how much yours rating dropped :) (mine from 5.85 to 5.40)

My biggest level drop was when Bulletstorm was moved from FullCV to Reduced retroactively... from ~7.4 to ~7.1

I am in favor of a Indiegala Gamer's Lair Community Steam closed group that will have us on Steamgifts. And still doing some giveaways here for those who do not have a big enough account yet.

About Steamgifts, i'm also tempted to create a little topic here for dupes in giveaways : instead of deleting the GA, maybe we can ask if someone has a spare of the game (assuming it's among the most frequently won games from the challenges). I've asked good old ココ奈⁉ who was kind enough to help me on it already, and if i can do the same for others, that would be good.

I'd like also to create a topic for Steam cards exchanges also, but of a certain kind : not exchanging your dupes, but exchanging your half-sets for other half sets, so instead of having a lot of games with half the cards, we'll have some games with a badge, and some games we don't care about with no cards anymore. Having a lot of Feudalife games is very helpful in this, as we won't care about most of them. I have no idea what makes me want to have badges, but i guess being on Steam gives you this kind of quirk.

I was wondering why indeed, i went from something like 7.13 to 7.03 now. Pheww ! I stayed in the same level.

I would also like to propose to you another raffles - this time for LEGO® The Hobbit, F1 2018 & Ancestors Legacy..
Rules are as usual - send me a private message if you would like to participate (you can participate in all of them), and I will add your name to the list. The raffle will be concluded after several days (depending on the activity of new participants, I will wait 2 or 3 days to give you all the chance to sign in).

LEGO® The Hobbit
  1. MasterHiTechAssassin

F1 2018
  1. MasterHiTechAssassin

Ancestors Legacy

Not sure though I joined when my game count on Steam hit about or close to 800 (if I remember correctly) and I was told my worth was only at $130 or $180 (these 2 numbers can be confusing to remember :ROFLMAO:)

🤮 So on Steamgifts we never know when they will suddenly drop the bomb and make a game go from full value to no value? That makes me very wary of putting up better games there who knows I put a really nice game up there for full value and next few months later my game becomes a worthless gift.. Rather hard hand on what they are doling I would say. Nonetheless I will not say no to more games :ROFLMAO:

Well I guess the reason for badges is to level up your account? Like some groups I see that is good to join but requires a level 30 account and I am not even close to getting there anytime soon.. :sneaky:

But really good to have support from each other especially when we know how bad keys from Indiegala can be.. Like I used to not have any issues with Space Empire V keys but lately I have received 2 dupe reports from my giveaways here.. 😫

It's hard to be up to date with every bundle and giveaway, but if the game was heavily (>=85%) discounted, bundled, or given for free at some point in time - then yes, you may expect that it will be retroactively changed and your level will drop. For me it doesn't matter anymore - the game is the game - I have it, do not want/need it, someone will like it, why do not give it to him? It does not matter if it will give me 100000CV or 0CV.

Great ideas Zolivv! In the SG group we may have the rule to agree to delete the duped GA, but if the key can be provided by someone else to the winner, then why not?? The received game is a received game, I'm fully in, and would gladly help if I have the needed game (not limited to the eventual SG group, count me in even if the group will not come to reality).

True! Very true on what you've said! Especially when giving rewards you in some other ways unimaginable! Though now what I would do is to do those 0CVs giveaways here and those with value on Steamgifts as leveling there is still pretty important for better odds at winning something I'd say. But here leveling is pretty much.. Well.. Cheated so.. :ROFLMAO:
