I'm curious to try Arx Fatalis when it will be transfered on Steam.
For those who doesn't know there is free since long time:

No payment needed and it's just a general Microsoft account these days, so if you have one for Windows/Skype/Office it should work for claiming Xbox 360 games and logging in on the console.

Doubt that. They don't have Steam page, but you get them if you purchase a TES game on GOG.

hrm well I tried to claim with the the MS store app, but it wasnt free. So then I tried the web link and after logging in to my MS account it wanted me to set up an xbox account. Dont you need a gamepass or something? I thought MS & xbox were the same. Maybe not...?

Can't help you much, my MS account is quite old, I may have I logged into an actual Xbox360 with it at some point, but I don't remember for sure. I do know for certain that I never had a gamepass.
Have you tried going through setting up an xbox account that it offers after you log in?
