There will still be "wheels" but only for people who I want to participate in it. It will not be public , if I have something to give I will contact you via dm's, for participation that's it . We all knew deep down that this thread we will attract people who just take and don't give anything in return. And when I say in return , you don't have to give out games , just say something other than "may I have " don't act like a bot .

It is ok, Jer7cho. Thank you for the past giveaways. (y)
Maybe we got to rethink the whole shebang ....
or maybe ...
I think mostly people only request keys for their own use; I definitely have only asked for keys for myself, and I activate any gifts/wins I have received straight away on my Steam account. I think MasterHiTechAssassin seemed to say (if I understood the post correctly) that if a giveaway stated a key was only for personal use, MasterHiTechAssassin would respect that condition. So maybe it's simply a matter of stating that in the giveaways, at least here in the forum giveaways/raffles where it is possible.

I couldn't let this go without reply.
You said 'But if some one gives and makes a demand it ruins the value of giving.' I will now give an example of giving from my country.
There was once a man who bought a new notebook and because of that he decided to giveaway his old working notebook. He thought that this notebook can help some poor kids learn reamotely. This was time when remote teaching started so there was many famillies which could have good use for it (for kids to learn). But unfortunately the first person who answered man was a person who sold notebook right after getting it. And thanks to this extra money he bought himself a new console because he really love playing video games.
So what you states is that a man who gave away a notebook would ruin value of giving if he demanded to give this notebook to kids from poor family to let them remotely learning, right?
looks like you dont read all that o wrote i said if someone in the giveaways told that the keys were to use to use only in the steam account of that person who asked i in some cases wouldnt ask or participate in the event. I didnt participate in any event that that was made clear. So If the the man wanted to give that pc\laptop to an association he should have deliver the laptop himself or send in the mail. not send to someone he never seen. Some people know the wishlist off someone and send direct to them. The 1st man had good intentions but fail to do things in the right way.

I guess rule 13 aplies to that , its ok tho , after giving out countless numbers of games , I think I deserve the right to give out more valuable games to people who I like more than others .

If that makes selfish so be it .

P.S I don't think I have given the most games in this comunity , that title goes to Vinka Zec , Hoang Marcel or BreakAway , Eox 1 etc ...

Also I made a small note , not a rule on first page .

i think you shouldnt stop doing the weels like you did because what you think of me because im not participating in more weels or giveaways in here but do what you like. "may I have" is a respect way to say that person is asking polite if they can have that key but sure there are other ways to say that. But you saying that is like a bot 90% or more of the people say lithe that not just me so you are attacking other people to. One question if i may ask. Do you belive i make money with keys from giveaways?

I think we should leave this issue closed. I don't know what they will do, at least I will remain faithful to my philosophy of not giving keys to silent ninjas or to people who have not written a comment in this forum. I fully understand that the issue of giving away a key, be it to a user who is really going to use it, there is a lot of effort behind them, even those who do the giveaways, there is a lot, a lot of effort. I, for example, do not have so many means to achieve it, since I am usually busy for a long time. I am concerned about this type of thing, because I like to give keys knowing that they are going to activate it.

I am simply tired of people with post history consisting of the same question, which is " May I have "

To be honest, that's my reason to not do giveaways anymore. Every time someone does a big giveaway we have like 10 lurkers coming out of nowhere to snatch the games from the known users who care about this community.
That's why I prefer to help people with their wishlists behind the scenes.

I think it's best to stop with this discussion. I feel it's getting nowhere.

you understand what i ment correctly (sry if i wrotte in my bad english.)

I'm sorry, I understand english it's not your language, but I don't think you're making yourself clear well with your long texts.

Ofc I didn't stop making this giveaways because of you , I simply developed a circle of people who l like more than others thats it . I don't even think you are bad person or something like that , but I do think you are presenting yourself in a wrong way . I also think you withhold from eox 1 that you will use that key for trading , because you knew if you tell him the truth , he will not give it to you , which is kinda sad. And I don't like the fact that you are entirely blaming him for this "conundrum " . At the end of the day these are all just videogames , a disctractions in this shitty world , and speaking of shitty world considering what is happening rn in the world , I really don't wanna prolongue this discussion anymore.

You also probably play challenges like the rest of us , why not give something yourself here and there ? Whats stopping you ?

I remember Yarromiro mentioned making a steam group in past that will have some Gamer's Lair givers , a people who have given a lot and have become valuable members of this thread , it might not a bad idea honestly .

All the best to you all and good night .
