I'm having the same problem, too. Glad to see I'm not the only one. For a while I thought it was just me.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Now everything should work as usual.

Many completed giveaways from yesterday have an empty winner field. It seems that nobody wins. Eg.
And probably many more.

Wow. Good detective work. And that's really, really shady. Was there actually no winner, so IG just kept the keys? Or did those all go to users with blank usernames (which IG should not allow)? How can we get to the bottom of this? Combined with the NUMEROUS problems the giveaways section has had lately, I don't think I'm very motivated to put anything up for a GA now.

Also in indiegala's symmetry giveaway: 23658 tickets sold, but apparently no winner.
Maybe this is only a display issue and someone has won.
Whoever reads this and won some giveaway yesterday or today: do you see your name in it?
I looked in the page details for many of those giveaways, and where other, previous giveaways have the winner indicated immediately following the line
<i aria-hidden="true" class="fa fa-trophy"></i>
virtually all of these have that field completely missing. To be specific, the field property "firstChild" has a null value in the more recent giveaways, where it was defined as text and contained the winner name previously. So either someone has rigged the system to steal all of the giveaways and hide the recipient, or IndieGala changed something in the script to not include that element which could also mean that a single recipient is getting all the Giveaways, but that that recipient is IndieGala itself.

If I have more time, i might try to trace the winner retrieval through the page elements. Or someone else can do it.

If we can verify that anyone has won a giveaway and been named as the winner recipient in the past two or three days, that might help.

Has anyone else been getting this particular error?

This started for me right after the giveaways section came back up, it's only happening on those top three giveaways. I can enter other giveaways just fine. I'm assuming the giveaway host was banned but I'm not sure why one would try again in a few minutes if the action was banned. :p

why doesn't your screenshot show giver information at the bottom of the ticket instead of the "view on steam" link?

I'm using Redsparrow's Indiegala Helper extension, which is changing the ticket up a bit. Your post reminded me to turn that off and see if the extention was causing the issue. I'm getting a different message with it off, "You are not allowed to participate in this user's giveaway" which sounds more like a blacklist message.

did you give both of the other users negative feedback on one of your previous giveaway wins? it seems unlikely that someone with no connection would blacklist you and also unlikely that two people would blacklist you for negative feedback (based on my own experiences in giving negative feedback, but this could vary)

Right? I thought the same but I looked through my wins and found neither of the users. I'm still stumped by this message but those giveaways have ended and I've not encounter the error again.

just to continue to reiterate the issue that was raised by Antagonius, every single one of the giveaways I've entered in the past three days has had a blank winner field.
Antagonius, if you're around, can you describe how you got that list of results you produced? I'm not having any success searching for winning giveaways for the past 24h/week/month, although just searching for giveaways turns up numerous results, leading me to believe that the date metadata for IG is jacked up.

Same thing for me, the last giveaways I created do not seem to have a winner. If it's the same for everyone, then it might mean that all users who create or participate in giveaways have been doing it for nothing for several days. Has anyone won a recent giveaway lately?

It is simple: they are from the "to check" list in my profile.
You can verify the completed giveaways in your "to check" list as well, as long as you don't click "check all".

I have a number of completed giveaways with no winner listed, following the site outage a few days ago. I notice that guaranteed keys have the tick and that I got the credits for them.

Have the non-guaranteed keys actually been won by people or are they available to be put into a giveaway again?
