Completely understandable. There has been mixed messaging, and the rules, like the pirate's code, are more like guidelines, and they're rarely enforced. I'd like to see a clear list of what is and isn't allowed, and more warning and enforcement. I have never seen mods talk at all, even though they are occasionally online.
Sounds good. I'd be interested to see them, and even more interested to see them publicly listed so everyone can.
I'll let you know if I find out anything.
Are you actually banned on SG? Assuming this:
User - Kelleidorn is you, you're not banned. For comparison, temp ban:
User - BOGDANISTHEBENECILD and perm ban:
User - ZhuX7
Yes, my page remains unchanged, but I can't log in anymore and I don’t know what kind of ban they applied. I sent an appeal to their support, but no response has yet been received.
Well, if you've ever given away anything on SteamGifts, you probably know that they have a very unfair system for awarding points for giveaways and can retroactively give status "No value" for games that previously were status "Full value" or "Reduced value". Almost all of my giveaways that I gave out at different times began to receive the status “No value” although at the time of giveaway they were not on any of their lists, not in any bundle and were not tagged with 1 or 2 asterisks, as a result my level rolled back from 6 to 3. I sent a message to support about this and decided to find out on what basis they mark games with “No value” statuses and where I can track the appearance of these statuses, because their system seemed totally unclear, so that the games that I plan to giveaway with SG are not thrown into the void and all my efforts did not turn into dust, if any game can be devalued by any decision. I also offered them a more simplified scoring and leveling system, partially based on the local IndieGala leveling system, but slightly more refined, but most importantly, much more fair and which can lead to the fact that more users will want to share their keys and in the future greatly increase the number of giveaways at SG.
And what did they do in the end? Right, they wiped my giveaways, rolled back all my progress from level 3 to level 1 and they answered that they can do this, yes, they can at any time, with any hindsight, add any games to the “No value” list and thereby reset any levels! I really didn't like it, but what can the average user do in an attempt to withstand to liars and scammers?
So, in the end, f**k them all, I'm staying here, at the best site with the best community!
