One of the simplest challenges suddenly began to require surgical precision - now you need to water the plants only in the right square under the bush. It looks like someone who has never held a sprinkler in their hands has taken up the case. Better to fix digging controls instead, sometimes it seems like the "aim" works randomly in this challenge...

can someone explain what the positive feedback on giveaway thing is?
What do I have to do for this?
create a giveaway in the giveaway section, wait for the giveaway to end, a winner will be chosen who will receive the game you are giving away, the winner will give you the feedback

That isn't much of an explanation. How many positive feedbacks are required for malas reduction? How long is your malas reduced for? All games of the day you got the positive rating?

That side, the malas for winning is growing! First 6, now 7 malas per win! this is unreasonable.

I answered the question that was asked.

How many positive feedbacks are required for malas reduction? How long is your malas reduced for? All games of the day you got the positive rating?

to answer yours: one feedback is required, lasts for 24 hours for all challenges played, after 24 hours you need new positive feedback from a new giveaway (this is explained on the notice before the game begins btw, as well as in the RULES thread if you look there)
they probably changed it to 7 for the reason FreaKill pointed out before - if the malus is 6 and you buy on the store+buy bundle+get positive feedback, the malUs becomes 0. this is not intended, that's probably why they increased it again (my guess)

This really favors people have done this awhile verses newer players. If you're new you won't have duplicate game keys to give away in the first place, and thus won't easily earn new keys to get duplicate keys.

That should be optional excalex.

Watering challenge is busted now. many times I'll water something only for it to not count. Maybe the water challenge requires precise targeting now, always a pain with current systems.

As it is now, it seems relatively impossible for me to win more than one key in a day without further discount from a give-away or something, but how am I to give away if I am not getting keys?

Watering isn't as bad as i thought. I almost managed to get it at 46 seconds, it's the targeting now only registers on the green square when it's on the plants (think of it like the targeting of the hoeing), otherwise it won't count, thus needing you to be more precise. It does indeed seem the plant highlight is the busted mechanic, where the plants are highlighted before you even target them with the green square, giving you the wrong impression that they can be watered, added by us being accommodated with the old watering mechanic in the past, threw many of us out of our comfort zone. I think with time many of us will get used to it, they only need to fix the highlight bug when it does it outside of your targeting area.

It seems to be 7 second malus now, which means i can win 3 per day (60 trees, 53 bushes, 46 watering or archers, likely archers). One thing about archers is that if you swipe at them from a distance, just far enough to be at the edge of your attack range, they seem to not shoot me between my swipes. Often when i went right in their face, they would shoot me from time to time, even if i had the timing right.

I dunno why, but in my 2nd archer run I got 6752 points.

If it helps to find out how it happened I'll describe what I did:

Since I knew I was gonna lose it anyway, I was playing around and pressed 2 to have no sword but still have the swing animation (might work for all tools, this is something that happenned from before the leaderboard/points system), got shot a few times and went back to slot 1 so I could kill the archers, I didn't notice when I got the 6k points, but I noticed it in the challenge and was like ??? and tried switched back to 2 but didnt get any ridiculous amount of points so I dont know what triggered it. I also scrolled up and down, but surely that isn't it.

Congrats! Yes, the watering is completely doable. In fact, when I water, I always do it 2 at a time. It's just a bit more difficult because the square target must be exactly on the plant before you water. But again, practice is key.

Yes, that's how I've done it since the beginning, (I tried the 4 way at first because of that suggestion) though I usually go down and then sideways rather than the other way around (I'll try it sideways first next time) The 4 way suggested way much earlier in the thread is bunk, even before the change. So you did it with 5 malas, which is 2 less than the 7 malas you get for having won once.

If you're going to increase the malas directly in response to giving us malas discount for giving away keys, that's like having done worse than nothing. Instead of a reward, it's more a punishment for not giving away keys, which further divides us players between those with fast machines who can get multiple keys in a day despite malas, and those of us who can't. Someone who can get multiple keys in a day can more easily give away keys which means further reduction in malas and more given away keys!!! Please scratch/remove the malas reduction for giving away keys and remove some base malas for winning. If you want to further reward people for giving away keys, further increase the creds given for doing so. Or have no further incentive for giving away keys, we already have reason to give away keys we can't use without the malas reduction.

Devs, can you lessen the divide system speed has on game performance please? One tool to do so is to show framerate like I've requested before. If people had an idea how fast the game was running for them, they'd be able to report discrepencies easier, making it easier for you folks to adjust things.

One issue I'm now having that I wasn't having before, the audio is lagging. That mostly impacts the mining challenge, which I listen to the strikes on to know when to stop hitting a rock so I don't waste a swing. But because the audio lags now, I can't do that, using the audio I'll waste at least one swing on a rock that is no longer there because of the audio lag, which makes a siginificant difference in how well I can do the challenge. Before I could win mining with zero malas, now I can't even do that. It also effects the tree chopping challenge, but I was rarely ever successful on that one even with zero malas before the audio lag. Still, please eliminate the audio lag!
