This might be because the challenge gets turned off but the page to enter the challenge (https://www.indiegala.com/gameplay-giveaway) doesn't change to say its been turned off.
I got 2 Notice from King...today. I won one challenge and got notice, no key in Giveaway tab. Second time i got notice i didnt even won and i got malus for both times.
And now i am getting Galacredits message again.

Look at it positively, you won four times even though you think you're not great at the challenges, four wins is pretty good considering five is pretty much the limit with old account malus (you can get 6 if you start on hoeing but then you just get 4 the next day unless you go for an extra loop), so you're better than you think at these things.

At least for me, this is the only challenge that I Iike winning at the 16 malus limit probably because of the hard time I had getting used to it from the beggining, watering I think is also possible but that one is just "Yeah you gotta do it pixel perfect or you lose haha", but when it comes to "malus limit" challenges its really just play the one you WANT to beat at its possible limit because that will be the one that you'll enjoy beating the most.Hoeing is also possible at 20 malus if you do it with no error, my notes say 4 missclick limit but that may also depend on getting a good map for it and I only tried it once or twice so I might be wrong... Getting a dupe key always stings a little bit, or a lot if its for a good game you wanted, but yougot it for free so its not like you lost anything, its just annoying.

Yeah hoeing is also very nice with good map on high malus. Might try sometime, i lost almost all of my GS today because of all errors.

Yeah, I'm also not sure if mining in 44 seconds is possible at all.
Yeah it's possible, you even have time for one minor mistake at 44 seconds. You can even bring it down to 42 if you're absolutely perfect, but I only managed it a couple of times.
Definitely try it! Precise manoeuvring in hoeing challenge was one of the the hardest to master for me, but it feels very rewarding to pull it off.
My thoughts exactly! I just remembered today that a while back I played a challenge and lost and when I clicked on play again I got the "not enought gala-something to enter" and was kicked out only to find out the challenge closed while I was playing the one that I failed. Good thinking, I guess this could be it.

seriously though, mining doesn't seem possible to me, but I have real trouble with the "click X times" challenges. But for me, watering plants is 90% success rate at 16 malus, managed to win it 2 or 3 times at 18 malus. Hoeing is defeinitely possible at 16, very often 18 and if you get lucky with the map 20 as well. Archers are a hit and miss for me, they seem waaay faster at shooting than they used to be for some reason. So sometimes I win at 16, sometimes I fail as low as 12 malus
