Sooo... hopefully the new "beta feature" is not that GalaCredits will be required to play? Also it worked correctly for me and gave me all the keys.
the character (let's call him Finley Feud) seemed to be a little drunk, and sprinting for no reason from time to time, or forgetting some clicks.
This used to happen to me frequently in the past, haven't seen the sprinting in a while fortunately, I thought it got fixed. (Also good choice of a name for the guy, hope it catches on)

Seems better now, i did the trees challenge with a 12s malus.

How long does Indiegala support take to answer a duplicate key issue? More than 10 days have passed sinceI emailed support.

Challenge currently working for me. As it is now, the only one I can win is the sprig picking, and not every time (most of the time though) so I basically cycle through till I hit it (playing the others anyway for practice and hope) once a day for a key.

The main trick for winning is to plan a path to get all lighter yellow without wasted movement, because there is usually barely enough of them to win. Well one round there wasn't even enough of them, only 39 I think, which is probably why I lost that one.

If you get a key for a game you already own that is not a duplicate, is there anything to stop you from putting it in give away etc.?

With practice, you'll be able to find a way to win them all (and with malus even).

Nothing, everyone does that !

yeah, I had a really bad map once where there were only 32 of them if I remember correctly. But if you have somewhere around 38 at least and save the dark/black ones for last, you can get away with picking them and still win, just save them for absolute last resort

Yeah, same here. Good map is crucial, sometimes you can see right from the start that you are blessed with a fuc**** map. 😂😂

I ask because every time I claim a key it asks me if I am sure, that I can't give or trade away after or something. So what's that warning about then?

It's a standard warning for revealing keys in store purchases and bundles, which you can gift or make guaranteed giveaways with - they just use the same system for keeping and revealing challenge keys.

Besides I have terrible luck in giveaways , probably entered in over 200 giveaways only managed to win 1 key (Knightshift) while I was level 3 , my luck has not changed now either while I am lv 4 still no wins :(
I feel like that's roughly my return rate on the giveaways as well, but my stupid 'half-full' side sees this as a win because I actually like Knightshift. I mostly get duds I compost for points.

So for sure no way to determine what a key is before I add it to my account? Because if it's a game I'm not interested in, no point in adding it to my account in the first place, better to give it away etc.

As i see you commenting about doing giveaways with already owned keys, hope you don't mind if i ask: what happens if you do a giveaway for a key that turns out to be already used? You get negative feedback, but can you get banned (with more than 1 i mean)?

I don't do giveaways because it can happen, and for some games i have replacements, so one of them should work if the winner tells me to change it, but for others i have just one.

;)

I'm not sure you can be banned for it and it would be rather unfortunate if you could. I only give aways keys from the challenges and I honestly have no way of knowing if they're duplicates or not, I don't intend to scam anybody or farm XP, just want to give those extra keys away.
But here's something that might still your mind: I just saw someone with 17 negative feedback (and hundreds of positive). I think if you keep the % amount of positive feedback at a reasonable level, you won't get banned. But again, I couldn't find any official rules, so these are just my guesses. Plus it would also be unfair since some users can create bad giveaways and still get positive feedback because of the automatic feedback after 3 days. Just my thoughts on the matter, if anyone can point me to official rules, that'd be great

While support says that "After 3 negative feedbacks your profile will be banned"(direct quote from my exchange with Paula back in July), we regularly see giveaway creators with over a dozen and they seem to be doing fine, so who knows if they really enforce that. I personally must've gotten up to 3 at some point or maybe even 4.

for some games i have replacements, so one of them should work if the winner tells me to change it, but for others i have just one.
That's kind of the approach I use: get a comfortable replacement buffer for a game and start giving away. So far it works reasonably well and I manage to maintain a neat -0. Of course duplicate keys MASTERPOST thread is quite useful, and I'd also recommend keeping an eye on profile posts section - sometimes you see people trying to contact giveaway creators there.
If you do get a negative feedback and want to fix it - good luck! Keep in mind, you'll probably have to chase and stalk some people and most of your winners never use the forum.
You can get guys like my first negative feedback giver, whom I only found after several months, who just accepted my friend invite and asked what I wanted, and was quite surprised I think, when I explained and gave him a replacement key. And then you have people like another winner of mine, who blocked me on Steam instead of accepting a friend invite, never used the forums so profile posts and PMs were useless, but several weeks later I found them on sg and contacted them there just fine. Some people are genuinely paranoid about Steam friend invites it seems.

I think if you keep the % amount of positive feedback at a reasonable level, you won't get banned.
I swear there used to be something in Help section that basically said that it doesn't matter how good you were before - the moment you get enough negative feedback you're banned.
But I can't seem to find it now. Maybe they removed it because even back then they couldn't or wouldn't enforce it?

just saw someone with 17 negative feedback (and hundreds of positive).
On the other hand there's someone with -17 and over 50 "Expired" giveaways filling up the section. Though perhaps nothing happened to them and it's just a glitch because they spammed to many giveaways at the same time?

Who knows? Perhaps admins? Definitely not us.

well will you look at that, you discovered another person with -17 negative feedbacks! The user I was talking about has balnce of +1339 / -17, so definitely not a scammer

I really hope what you said about 3 negitves = ban is not true, I already have 2, one was kind of stupid but I did not argue, one did not reply at all; both keys were from the challenge giveaway and if I get banned for that, I'd rather not use the giveaway section at all

I think missed giveaways are part of the game. I have 8 negative feedbacks, all for duplicates from the challenges (for 370 positives), i also have won a duplicate. I don't think they enforce this (or maybe for big numbers), and they shouldn't or they would lose a lot of people :D

Is there a way to see the frame rate of the game or otherwise tell if the game is running slow?
