But chopping with malus? Seriously, how did you manage to win it with the current timer settings? Neither +8 nor +7 give such an opportunity, and even at +5 I don't remember winning, except to collect the maximum bonuses and try at +4... But for me, these are only 6 trees out of 8 and very high chances by +$0.01 galacredit.
I haven't played woodcutting after 1 win in a long time, but as far as I remember it's quite easy to win at 5s malus and hard but winnable at 7s. Same goes for breaking rocks and sickling. For me saplings is the only one I never won at 7s malus, always come up just short. I almost always win it at 5s though.
If you can't cut 7 trees at +7 then either Feudalife lags a tiny bit on your system too or maybe you are clicking at the wrong pace. I found that simply spamming fast clicks results in slower swings than keeping a constant pace. Most noticeable on the rock breaking challenge but true for woodcutting, too.
I'm more inclined to blame software. My PC back home used to run the challenges perfectly and then one day nearly flawless performance in Chrome turned into a jerky mess, while in Firefox it continued to work not great, but well enough. There was no hardware change or any windows or browser updates at the time IIRC, so I believe random performance problems must be caused by feudalife itself.
Yeah, there definitely are software issues. For example after a Firefox update sickling was unwinnable last year (at least on my PC and on some others' who also reported it). Then a month or so later after another Firefox update the issue was gone.
But I'm pretty sure the general lag on weaker systems is a hardware issue, too. I always play in Firefox and the results are quite different depending on how weak the notebook / PC is.
