It's been several years and I still encounter errors and slow loads

This is ridiculous... 48 hrs and I managed to win 1 key with dozens of errors in all other games,

and also truly incredible, considering that I've managed to win more than 70 keys for about half a year
Of course with all the slow loads, server's down and errors.

Looks like someone got the key off your hands. You can use steamdb browser extension to find out (see below), I recommend it because it only loads on steam site so it doesn't spend unnecessary resources and provides you with many more good insights. Best to find out what it is in case you want to keep the DLC for later or just create a giveaway (and get yourself -2 malus for 24h ).

Same, tried 3 times today with several hours inbetween tries, all three ended up with errors

1 key, 3 errors (2 for keys), 2 credits, gonna give it 1 more go at hoeing a lil bit later for 2nd key and call it a day

i suggest wait awhile more,it seems like its almost going to work in a few hours(if its not closed)
