(What a weird logic by the way: "Oh hey, since we can't punish everyone who commited a crime, we've decided to completely stop doing that").

And you still didn't acknowledge your own wrongdoing. And you don't show any remorse for having done it.

Look, I understand the temptation. Levelling up is a slow crawl when doing it legitimately, especially the higher levels. Even more so if you're mainly or even only doing it with games from the IGGG, which is what I am doing. But in the end, it's not just the system you're cheating. It's us, the other people doing and entering giveaways. And while I might not speak for each and everyone, I'd like to think I speak for quite a few of us when I say:

While that doesn't make me a saint and I never claimed to be one, I didn't do any giveaways of overpriced shovelware or any other shitty abuse of the system. Like I said: mainly games from IGGG, maybe one or two I got from some other giveaway like AWA or similar and the odd bundle leftover here and there.

Your average points earned per giveaway currently are 848. Without the 15999 (~14.5% of your total points btw.) you probably got for that one giveaway unless Karma hit you with a negative feedback, it would be 730. My average points earned per giveaway are 600 and I don't think I had a single one over 1599 points.

Honestly, getting a game in indiegala challenge and making a giveaway for it if you don't want it or have it already is pretty natural things to do. Sure, site has bugged coin price for some game, I actually just recently was suprised that some giveaways has unnatural entry value, but I am willing to argue that this is abuse of the system. If one knew about this bug, and intentionally go and buy some games to benefit from it - then sure, no doubt that it's plainly abuse. And in case of giving away the game you just won in indiegala challenge - I would say it's just a coincidence. Of course it's just my opinion, and I respect your right to have different opinion about this matter, just wanted to put my two cents to it.

Just sort https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways by Price descending (click "Price" twice) and take a closer look at the first games. It's complete trash with a bunch of fake reviews priced at $100, $200 or even $1000 on Steam. That is the reason they cost so much iS (80, 160 or even 192) and give so many points. It's not a bug on IG. And you will probably find most of these for a couple of cents in some shady keyshop. I don't know where Dante got his from. Maybe his well-known lvl10-in-a-few-weeks serial abuser buddy gave it to him. Maybe he won it from some abuser here himself. Maybe he bought it. Don't know, don't care. The first "real" game in that list currently is Tokyo Xanadu eX+, which costs $60 on Steam and 48iS on IG.

Oh, I thought that was one of the games that has incorrect price on IG beceause of sale... I think it was Edna and Harvey the one I noticed recently. If you are sure that wasn't one from indiegala challenge and instead was one of those games, then I can agree with your judgement.

Yeah, IG seems to take the first price listed on an app page. I think during sales, some Daedalic games list the bundle first on an app page. And there might be other instances where something similar is happening. But overall these are rare exceptions and not comparable to the abuse I am describing. Thing is: in Dante's case it might have been a one-time thing. But his reactions here didn't give me any confidence in trusting him or his claims. If he had acknowledged his fault and maybe even apologized, things could have been very different. He's surely not on the same level as serial abusers like his buddy. But you can see the whole conversation here yourself (as long as he didn't edit out anything relevant in the meantime, which he also sometimes likes to do). Does that give you any trust in him not trying to follow in the footsteps of his buddy?

and yeah, I got it from a guy who's at the lvl 10 IG right now, purely for one time leveling up.
if you don't want the thing to be abused you should blow out the IG ppl door and ask/help 'em to do something with the system and NOT talking trash about ppl who you were spoken to, like, twice in your life.
