I've already had over 2000 won keys, so there's almost nothing interesting to catch here, except for those very rare games that everyone wants, so lately I've been paying more attention to almost wins than wins. I had an interesting idea to collect enough to buy myself something in the store. Since a lot of games from the ru_CIS region have stopped being sold here, this is not that easy. I chose Resident Evil 7 Gold.
It is very noticeable that this feature with 0.04 the game does not want to use, if you finish the game one step before victory (15 bushes out of 16, for example), then you will most likely get nothing rather than 0.02 or 0.04 . In half of the cases it is at least 0.01. I don't remember ever having 0.04 twice in the entire time I've been playing. There was something like that, but I'm not sure. But exactly once it was twice 0.02 and once 0.04 in one day.
i keep track how much gala credit i get in a day. I however dont specify almost finish run

And start replacing *invalid* keys from some games
How? You don't think that they have everything sorted and sent out clearly and by name? Most likely, there is one or more databases with keys, from which some lines of data are taken automatically, more or less alphabetically with a little random. Maybe someone once knew what was being added to that DB, but then everything was left as is.
At most, the number of games can vary in percentage. Perhaps there will be less of all kinds of Fireburst, Aveyond or everything that has been very common lately, and maybe DLCs for Magica will return again. But that something new will be added and it will be very noticeable - I strongly doubt it.

I think you're right, but also I think that they should do their work BETTER. 🤭

Guess we'll find out if there was an actual massive restock soon enough, I've barely won any new keys in the past month or so at over 500 won total. I can only imagine how it looks for people over 1k or 2k.

Just got another one :ROFLMAO:
I have to admit that today was a relatively bad day for me (in matter of galacredits). So, three full rounds (I always start with trees), that's 24 attempts, of which 3 keys and $0.14. A lot of almost won challenges were without 0.01 at all (10 times!), I already wanted to finish the attempts in the second round, but got distracted and did not win the necessary challenge and went to the third round, where everything was slightly compensated by three 0.02 wins.
But yes, i got my RE7 Gold already. Wooohoo.

For example there are keys from games like Paranormal that are known to be *invalid*. I specifically said 'replace', I meant replacing keys from such games on demand, when people write support tickets. A list of such games can be made with the help of the community, the 'BAD/FAULTY/NOT-WORKING/INVALID keys masterpost' has all the info needed already.

I asked a simple question - why did you decide that all keys are signed individually, and are not just a bunch of lines in one database?
And so, how do you imagine this replacement? Someone will come to the thread you mentioned, copy all the keys written there and say "give it back, it was mine, I honestly won it". Come down to earth, don't fly in the clouds.

Bruh why don't you just put two and two together instead of being salty for no reason. You're just like WaxWorm.
What does 'signed individually' even mean when talking about digital keys for Steam games? It's not an SMS you're writing, express your thoughts in detail. Here's how I imagine this:

1. You get a faulty key.
2. You ask indiegala to replace it if you determine that it's invalid.
3. Indiegala checks if you are the one who got the key (they're not encrypted or anything, the key gets assigned to your account when you win one).
3.1. Indiegala checks if the key is invalid (the same way you do this by trying to activate the key).
4. If the key is confirmed to be invalid then you get a replacement.

What's so unimaginable in this concept that you think I am flying in the clouds?

That could work... but what if someone activates a key on an alt account unknown to Indiegala, and says the key was already used ? No way to verify. Do you think Indiegala will contact Steam everyday with a giant load of keys to verify when each key was activated ? That can't work.

*Invalid* and *already activated* are two completely different states of a key. Invalid keys are those that have been *made so* by the developer of the game, Steam outputs a different kind of error when you try to activate such key.

I think he was talking ONLY about the INVALID keys, not the dupes.
Dupes are lost for us forever, I guess...((

Not forever, I talked about how it's possible to 'abuse' the Steam support by sending requests from new accounts to determine if a key was activated before it was given out to a particular user, but I agree that it's a bit too much, so yeah, they're pretty much lost.
