I got "not enough galacredits to play" error about 10 times today, while the challenges were online, so definitely buggier today than usual, but I'm very glad the challenges opened today at all

yep, there were some problems today. for instance i won a challenge, got the sweet sweet malus, but no code due to an error. but hey, no mistake with the malus. reliable as ever.

Gosh , I hope they are not changing this update , meaning I hope they don't revert the way it was back before , its the best feature they added since I joined this site

Seems i won 5 times today, but i only got 4 steam keys. I believe i got an error when i won the 2nd challenge, where it seems it counted my win and added malus, but didn't give me a steam key

I'm getting the "not enough galacredits to play" error right now. Hope they can fix it.
EDIT: Fixed.

the challenges were closed until like 30 mins ago, you're both getting "not enough galacredits to play" because the challenges were offline, nobody could play them regardless of credits. always check here if the challenges are available or not https://www.indiegala.com/gameplay-giveaway before playing.

can some1 explain wtf is going on : today i got game key (which game i already had in my library) and tried to activate but it says account owns product associated with this code and the thing is that i just got this key + it did not even work for me cause i already had this game.is this new lvl for indiegala giveaway being garbage???

well the keys are assigned randomly, so yeah sometimes you get something which you have already won before -> create a giveaway for it.

Are we talking about a key already claimed by a different account or a invalid key, because these are different messages and it was the latter message that was claimed.

Get your stuff straight mate, how will indiegala know wtf you own before, maybe you want them to pay you some kind of emotional distress fine?
Plus it's so random you can get the same game 150 times, give it to a friend, and stop crying about free stuff...

If you already own the game, activating it again won't do anything. The key is still valid, but you do not yet know what game it is for. In the product activation tab for Steam (in your browser, not the Steam client) check the confirmation box, press F12, then input your code and click activate. You will get that same message that you already own the product. On your right, or otherwise at the bottom of your screen there will be a few different tabs. Click on the network tab. When you click activate, a new entry will appear. Click on that entry and click the down arrow. You should then be able to find the game TITLE somewhere in that entry.

If you already own the game, then you can probably use the key for a giveaway on Indiegala, give it to a friend, or if the game is good, you could sell or trade it.

If, however, you get a different error, where it states that the key has been activated by another account, then the key is not valid and you got unlucky.
