Try reloading the page or waiting a few minutes. That was a common message before when the challenge was having problems. I remember i got scared first time i saw it, but others here reported it too .

In the task of digging the stones, the character is very slow, while completing the task easily in the past, now the character gives up on each click process, so that I do not win the slow movements. Not sure if it's just me, but the variety in winnable games appears to have decreased. I keep getting the same games, namely Magicka, Crazy machines 2 dlcs and Commandos (oh, and all the duplicates as well, which seem to pop up every 3rd key or so). What's it like for guys?

Probably just your luck at the moment. I'm not seeing any rise in percentage of repeat games among my wins. Even finally won some of the rarer games. So the pool of winnable games seems fairly intact. But of course that's merely my personal experience.
If you want an example of a really shallow pool, go back in time to Jan-Sep 2020 when you'd win games like Blockstorm, Hacker Evolution Duality, Dungeon Crawlers HD and Pink Rage Otome nearly every other day, sometimes more than one key per day!

I got through for a round of weed pulling and got no key, as expected given the connection issues. Avoid for now.

Yes, there is an interesting problem with the site. The screen does not turn on, it stays on the gray screen. There was no such problem before, I hope it gets fixed.

During certain times you get certain failed screens. With Firefox you can Connection failed security, hit "try again" you get a loading screen which then goes away and you get that menu around the edges but blank in the middle except for the general background.

With Chrome you just get a gray screen.
