Edit: Err.... scratch that. Leaderboard just got reset. Guess you'll have some work to do if you wanna get up there.
Yep, saw reset just before going to serve my time...

It's nice to see you guys having fun, too bad I had to miss that.
Also - my service will be longer, at least a week, so I will be missing on the Tuesday/Thursday quizzes until it's over.
Still can get Sunday, but that alone most likely will not be enough to get me to leaderboard this month. So - good luck to whoever gets extra pudding this month! ;)

hungry?! As soon as I discovered what Black Pudding is all my hunger for the rest of the day was immediately gone XD
Eh, I don't know about blood pudding (never tried one before) but blood sausage is really good! As long as it's properly prepared one - I'm not talking about regular store-bought abominations.

Yeah, that's a common response to that observation. ;)
Doesn't taste all that bad though. It's actually rather sweet. Same goes for blood sausage.

Holy hell! This was the hardest quiz ever. I expected the Pope question to be about his origin (3 from Italy, one from Poland), didn't read anything about the capitals' geography, and was stunned for a good moment by the word "landlocked" :D For question 10 I thought you would be asking about mythology (Oberon is celtic, the rest are Greek). I guessed correctly, but again: holy hell :D

Noticeable delay on Q1 today, otherwise no issues.
Was a bit sceptical as to what Q7 and Q8 was gonna be, considering the hints, but it seems my notes were sufficient ^^
TTRM's notes said:
7: Canute the King of - King Canute ruled 3 of the following 4 countries. Which one didn't he rule?
was king of Denmark, England and Norway
In his 1027 letter, Cnut refers to himself as king of "the Norwegians, and of some of the Swedes"

Cnut was crowned king, now of ENGLAND, DENMARK and NORWAY as well as PART OF SWEDEN.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
8: John Paul I Paul V John Paul II Paul VI
Paul V

Paul V - not immediately preceeded/succeeded by any of the other 3, and ruled in the 1600s
The other 3 immediately preceeded/succeeded eacheother, in the order of paul VI --> John Paul I --> John Paul II
The "other 3" were also the first instance of "Year of three popes" since 1605, where Paul V was the third of this year
Seems some others weren't as well prepared though, as Q8 took out a lot of participants...
