Was interesting. To give some constructive criticism, some of the hints don't line up well with the questions. The hint gives you the musical, but does not even give you a rough idea what info from it all is necessary. No don't get me wrong, not saying that a hint should lead directly to the answer, but if a hint leads me to a musical, you shouldn't ask for more then the general data.

Edit: After going through my notes and the answers, I have to say, that the hints were very well thought out. Sadly, as I stated before, some were a bit too broad.

Bad hints and thus bad questions on 1, 5 and 7.
Asking for too much around the corner knowledge without hinting at it is bad style.

It is already barely worth putting the 30 minutes into researching regular hints for a $1 reward possibility, but with such it's getting into absurd territory.

I agree partially, but how was Nr. 1 bad hint BUT Nr. 6 (Mercedes Jones) was not in your book? They have the same idea behind them: The answer is an actor's name and the hint is the name of their most famous/popular character that the actor has played.

Nr.1 : Ben Platt was the answer, hint was Evan Hansen=character portrayed by Ben Platt
Nr. 6: Amber Riley was the answer, hint was Merceds Jones=character portrayed by Amber Riley

Aren't those 2 hints the same style/format/whatever?

Agreed. I still couldn't find any info related to the hint in Q4. Which GTA means? The game (Grand Theft Auto) or random terms.
Q5 answer should be Les Miserables-the musical name, not the dumb number.
Q7 should be the movie La La Land since all of the actresses played that musical.

Q4 answer was "Drive It Like you stole It", which kind of describes GTA games quite well.
Q5 is a mixed bag the hint itself was okay, as the number is basically the next word in the quote used as the hint. The problem is that it is a big leap from the theme "musicals", to the question.
Q7 I chalk up to my lack of noting it down, it's kind of the first thing that appears on google.

I really liked this one, because the quiz announcement stated "cartoon vilalins OR the cartoons themselves" and as soon as I figured out the hint (new member here, so not a repeat quiz for me), I only had to research 2 things: which cartoon that hint points to and what the villain of the show is. Very enjoyable format for me, as it was not heavy on research but I still discovered 2 new cartoons I did not know before

hi, could someone explain to me how to participate in the quiz?
whenever i stumble upon it at the right time, the timer runs out and nothing happens.
refreshing doesnt do anything at all. the timer starts again.

Quiz lately have been only on saturday , so I dont think you missed anything , they just forgot to update the timer , and besides if there are no hints challenge , there will be no quiz.

true, i wondered about the missing mini game chopping heads... but it never worked for me before either...

it does now but before it didnt as apparently the timer was wrong.
