Since the prize is too small, they won't bother manually checking people who got 9 out of 10 correct answers

Let me guess, someone writing the hint confused IV with VI?

I will take the blame here. In my attempt of simplifying the hints as much as possible (and avoiding confusion with the roman numerals), my monkey brain just followed the pattern of seeing numbered movies which involved 1,2,3 until that point. I know quite well the difference between IV and VI, my childhood was filled with clocks with such display.

In my defense, I am not a trekkie, but in my accusation I am not dyslexic either. I can't say it is often I make mistakes like that, but you know, slips may happen, I take responsibility. However the hints are meant to be helpful most of the time, but I suppose I can also consider making some 0-hints quick quizzes in the future, so can't say helpful hints are meant as a rule (in the past I did make some misleading/tricky on purpose, but still fair).

I'd appreciate not bothering support on this, since it wasn't really a technical issue, it was on me this time, so feel free to throw all the tomatoes at me and get angry with me.

you're forgiven, but I'm not sure how that would work out since plenty of us here are not native speakers of English and are from various countries etc. so making an "unbiased" quiz (e. g. not USA/GB centred) without hints I can't quiet imagine how that would go

Returning to the update I was telling you about a few days ago. Most of my affairs with the dead are now in order. Now my gripes are with the living. We'll return to at least 3 quizzes per week (at least that is the plan). Combining new quizzes and reduxes. I have at least 3 new ones ready from suzana and maybe 1 or more from the community, need to check. I will also take into consideration some quick basic quizzes with no hints. Most of the important improvements/fixes for the new layout are done, I'll try to persuade once more the tech team to look at the quiz and maybe enhance it.

And of course, I will try to be especially extra careful at the hints and questions/answers, everything I get from suzana or community I double check, source check, simplify, do my best to make it short, non interpretable etc. I am also dropping words lately, from full sentences to basic word relations for a faster reading. Trying to constantly improve.

That was a HUGE improvement for the better for me, the quizzes are a lot more enjoyable now for someone such as myself who can't read too fast, thanks a lot for that

I can't believe there weren't any question about the hottest member of the Star trek franchise which is Jerry Ryan :(

Significant delay on Q1 (almost a full 10 seconds), resulting in the question being marked as wrong. It was only a false positive though.
The same erronous feedback occured on Q2. There too merely a false positive.
10/10
Prize received.

As I rarely am among those who receive such a false positive, and never have received 2 in a row, I'm expecting a loooot of people got hit by the same error today.
