As long as you remember that it's actually not your friend and check what the found articles actually say, instead of trusting what it presents as "answers".
Examples off the top of my head: google once claimed that Asia is the continent with most countries; sometimes it lists wrong release dates for movies even though the article that data supposedly comes from has the correct date; when searching for moon in my city, it gave the time of the moonrise for "today" only it was from four days before.

I got a bug at the sixth question or so, clicked extra times just in case to see if the points would count or not, before and after the visual bug. I technically should only have missed question 3 and 4, and ended with 480 points, so that strategy of insanely clicking at the answer might help after all!

Aside from the sometimes lack of accuracy, some searches are no good for finding information. If your search perimeters contain too many common words then you can find yourself with too many irrelevant results to possibly check in your lifetime.

Another issue is sometimes I get results that don't have the words I used in my search in them for some reason, further increasing irrelevant results.

Idk if my theory has any solid grounds , but this is fifth or sixth quiz for me in a row without the infamous bug , the trick for me is answer every question above 6 sec mark , the only downside to that is you might missclick and select the wrong answer, which is what happened to me in previous quiz.

I have tried that some times ago, it can happen anyway.

As far as observations go, it can help. More time for the server to respond, possibly, fewer people in the queue waiting to get a response. But doesn't really mean your safe. I think I had this discussion with someone on this thread already, you can try looking it up if you're interested.

Bug on the first question with a 500 Internal Server Error response, but once again I was able to save it by clicking again. I have been able to do that at least three times now. Also there has been times when it has not worked.
I recommend those who get the bug often to keep clicking on the answer button and if it is shown as not answered when the time is up, keep clicking until the trivia is shown. If you are lucky it might save from loosing points.

I also had a "visual" bug on the first question for today's quiz.

But now I used "Network monitor" in a Mozilla Firefox browser (similar tool maybe available for Google Chrome) and noticed 500 (Internal Server Error) status code after first click on the 1st answer, when it also turned green, while others were red at the end of the counter. So, I clicked again on the same answer, and "Network monitor" showed 200 (OK) status code after this.

I don't know how this was internally on the server, but if not this, then this could be another "non visual" bug in my case, I guess.
So, thanks for this explanation (and "hint"), oldgreydonkey.
I got 550 out of 550 points at the end.

Edit: I also saw similar "500 Server Error" message, when accessing "My library" page on the site.

I would say Yes and Yes, a mix of questions from previous freebie quizzes.

Hints are still somewhat very useful, but no research required (or possible, really).

2. What green herb used for in (some game?)
3. What is pacifist rout in (some game)
4. opposite of caring or something
5. part or item in (game)
6. Where Inception takes place
7. Not doing something in extreme (something alone that line)
8. why rats have to constantly gnaw on something
9. it takes 62 muscles to frown but only 26 to...
10. Electric charge of proton

Damn that s*cks. With the hints it was fine, but i would not say it was as easy as i was expecting. About forgetting about it, i often avoid to do things as i know i'll forget, actually i checked clock and pacnicked but then remembered i had the watch with 1 hour more .
