1: If it's already repaired once you travel back, you won't need to travel back at all, rendering the trip pointless.
2: If you scrap the broken machine in the past, you would never have one in the future, and thus you wouldn't be able to travel back at all.
3: Time travels are inherently paradoxial. There's no way around that. (Heck.... if we ever find a way to bend time-space, we could travel lightyears in the blink of an eye and, per how the universe works, arrive at our destination before we even left. If we then proceed to immediately make a return trip, we could potentially end up returning home and see ourself off for the initial trip.... 0_o )
4: #3. A number that is greater than 2. Example: "the third in a set or series"
5: Planck time isn't a location, nor a tangible resource. It's a measure of time, a concept created by humankind to make sense of the flow of time in the first place. It is debatable whether or not time truly exists, or if it's simply a result of mad science gone haywire. Some scientists regard time itself as a 4th dimension.
6: Making a human/machine slush is what you already suggested initially; throwing the time machine into a car crusher with the "operator" still in it.
1: It will be repaired when you travel back. It will stay broken if you don't.
2: That is why you scrap the broken one after it has travelled back, repaired.
3: We are discussing about working time travel here, paradoxes exist only before stuff works. After that point stuff either works or does not work, there will be no more paradoxes. Therefore, bringing paradoxes up is still a moot point since we already assume a fully working time travel technology that obsiously is not hindered by (mentioned) paradoxes.
4: You're drifting here.
5: I never said Planck time was a location or a tangible resource. You're drifting further.
6: Making slush, yes, making functioning slush, no, so there is a need for time travel.

If one of you actually managed to travel in future , can they confirm quiz for tommorow ?
Didn't you pay attention when the quiz timer turned to negatives? Obviously it was moved from Thursday to Wednesday and since there are no new winners on the list, everyone missed it. Now hopefully our theoretical physicists will stay theoretical and won't travel back in time - otherwise we're risking a paradox unraveling the fabric of the universe.

Sorry but this was a HORRIBLE experience for me! I press the answer a couple of seconds before the timer runs out, and A LOT of times, this TRA$H doesn't even register my answer!! I admit I have mistakes too, but that certainly is NO EXCUSE for the quiz to not register my answer!!
