I'd say give it a couple of minutes, because the main page timer usually runs out before the actual quiz page timer.
On the other hand, whenever quiz timer freaked out, usually meant the quiz died as well.

Refreshed the page and it showed a negative timer for a split second, before turning into a 30 min one - definitely looks like it died.

So I am not the only one with the 30 minutes stuck timer? Apparently the Terrorist forgot to set the timer off. Easy defuse for the Counter-Terrorist
