Stated is a beta key. Then states that it was won in another giveaway so can't guarantee it works. Also posted on forum the same. Username 'spamtycoon' is very fitting.

I suspect both are Origin codes, and that the other user got confused.
But considering that the user hasn't even updated his giveaway with a comment for the other one, I can't trust either.
I suspect both codes will probably expire if not redeemed by December 30th also.

Can't remember - do we have a community ban list? And if yes - where is that?

This guy won one of my giveaways and gave me negative without contacting - which is on itself is not a big problem, but his Steam account is private, and I don't see him active here (he is level 5 though).

I'm posting it here just as an info for others, your choice what to do with it.
If I'm wrong about the guy - will be happy to take your POV into account.

P.S. It would be helpful, I think, if creators can actually see feedback not just as a up or down vote but whatever winner input too - like it was on the old IG site. Sure it would depends on people living honest feedback (if any), but in many cases it can eliminate the confusion at least.

I've been compiling one, since the ban feature isn't easily accessible.
I raised it as a possible method to combat these issues, but didn't really know of a good way to share / implement.
Unfortunately, unless they've won a giveaway from you in the past, there is no way to actually ban someone and retrieve the old-styled link (which is the biggest issue).
The second issue appears to be that once a user is "added" you can't see what their link was anymore.

The other issue is that since Indiegala limits your banlist based on account level, lower level accounts can't ban anyone.
Higher level accounts have more slots (but then you have to prioritize who is a bigger offender).
This then becomes a problem if people consistently cycle accounts / have multiple accounts as well as ranking them.

I currently have users on it based on this thread if I was able to retrieve their IDs -- which right now is quite limited.
Sometimes you can get it from google caching, but since then haven't been able to in quite some time.
My concern has been making it public, since then users will create new accounts if they see themselves on it.
I unfortunately don't really know who I can trust barring few users from this thread.

But I have it listed on a local file so far as
Name (Alias if any)
Reason
Indiegala User Account Link

Another very suspicious, possible IC grab giveaway

The user has been already reported a few times Search results for query: sazuoke
BTW, how can I easily extract his ID to the format acceptable by my ban list input?
here, should work if you input this URL into ban-list

You can write to support (support@indiegala.com) and ask them to fix your feedback.
Thanks for your answer. I just won my 1st giveaway here and my case is exactly the same as HackGolder: I gave a positive feedback because when I look Steam page for the game that I won, appeared "this game is already in your library", but, unfortunately, was a trail key, with only 5 plays available :(

an interesting case :
we can see here that indiegala is giving some keys for free games during the "Winter Sale Scratchy" wich can be considered as a fraudulent practice
also one day indiegala will have to justify the constant amount of wrong keys from "gameplay giveaways" cause the situation start to be unfair for members

yeah so it's back, by a different user this time. How is a DLC worth that much money tho?

Well, it's really expensive on Steam... But I guess it's not a product for everyone, it's professional software - more or less.
Why would someone make a giveaway for this like that here - your guess is as good as mine (cough - point-grabber scam - cough).

Edit: Oh, btw, creator doesn't even have a forum account set up - clearly new smurf/scammer account...

Misleading giveaway... And i believe he/she chose the base game to give away because of the high amount of XP they'll get. I miss old Indiegala website... I can't access userid/trade profile link to block them. Is there a way to that? I want to put those in my BL.
there you go, the link to profile https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/0654c81c917611e4a64f5d46f580ade1
thanks for reporting, I'm gonna blacklist them too

My gripe as of late is
1) Very difficult to get correct link for banning users from giveaways
They should just require everyone to link to valid / level capped Steam Users and use that instead.
2) Rampant abuse that makes the banlist almost useless.
I feel as though 25 total bans at my current level is a poor substitute for better management.

I have 40 at my current level... And still not nearly enough.
They should either make it unlimited or better - fix the system and actually ban those abusers on permanent basis from the site - completely.
