These are just interesting giveaways, why do they even exist? The key for the game can be won in challenges, but the game itself became free not so long ago. As far as I'm concerned, it's quite fair to return IG giveaways with keys that you can win here yourself. But why give away dlc and not the full game?

hmm...that's strange, 'cause I've added that "game" for free through Steam itself (not through the key) and it still gives me the opportunity to get the trading cards... :unsure:
also you still think that giving away some FREE games for iS points is okay?
and I haven't checked your work, I've just breezed through the GA section 'cause I've had some iS to spend🤭

Well, at least as I've personally experienced, any game that I've added for free that drops steam trading cards has not awarded me any free card drops if I added the game for free. Games that come to mind that have done this include, but might not be limited to:
100% Orange Juice
200% Mixed Juice
Autobahn Police Simulator
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
DiRT Rally
Divide by Sheep
Fearless Fantasy
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition
Higurashi When They Cry Hou - Ch.1 Onikakushi

As for giving the free games away, I personally think that:
A. If the complimentary steam trading cards are not awarded unless a key is used to activate the game, then I don't mind because the giveaway gives the utility of adding those complimentary drops for the recipient to receive.
B. If they are awarded even if the game is claimed for free, then I do not agree with giving them away through the IG Giveaways section because there is no added utility vs. claiming the game for free from Steam. (And therefore nothing is really "given away", defeating the spirit of that section)

And I do report as well while I'm breezing through the GA section. Great minds think alike, right?

As an addendum to my previous post, another reason that I'm shying away from more thorough reporting of giveaways is because the user teo74gr banned me from his giveaways presumably because I reported one of his giveaways here, and I don't want to get banned from too many other user's giveaways.

Also, another way I'd agree with giving the f2p games away is if they've since been de-listed from steam.

I just wrote the winners (YellowStoryInvisible and wadadyma) a post on their profiles and a private message, and hope there is luck and they read it so that everything can be satisfactorily resolved🤞
