My blacklist is full, i con't even look at active or unactive and banned or unbanned users cause there is no link and the name on giveaway and the forum and the various links are all different.

One of the thing that this updates needed to do was to uniicate profile, make it easy to understand who is who and make it easy to report and blackslist scammer but nothing has been done on this part of the site.

Won one of those stupid 160 Is games, turned out it was a dupe key for a Trivia stupid game, and i can't even set a negative feedback because the site fails. Scammers still have a bright future here.
You can send a message to support and tell them to change voting to negative after you explain what happened.

If you took away all the GOG, Gleam, and fakes, there wouldn't be very many left. Even the ones that would be left usually aren't very high level.
There will be more, to level up you need to do giveaways but if a legit user need to put a lot of effort (and money) and end up berated byusers like that it will stop making new ones and stay on the lower levels cause spending will have no sense.

It's like you go to get a good car worth 100K dollars and have to sell 20 cars worth 20K dollars to haver a chance to get it.

The you find out that other 10 peoples sold 1000 keychans worth 1$ to have your same chance, you feel scammed and never try it again.

I think there's nearly only trash now. Those giveaways are just a mean to sometimes get those without the Gleam tasks 😂
Most of the time yes, though when there are Amazon prime/HP/Fanatical free games the quality usually go up.

Again a beta key:

I offered a GOG key and announced it was a GOG key in the giveaway so those who didn't want a GOG key wouldn't enter.

The winner redeemed the key and downvoted the giveaway for not being a steam key.
What is wrong with people?

The instructions do say that a Steam key is SUPPOSED to be offered.

Plus Paula has informed me that it is a possibility to receive a negative for the giveaway being a GoG key.

It's a working game, if a person doesn't want a GOG key then they shouldn't enter the giveaway.
In case the person misses the GOG key warning and enter the giveaway by mistake, they can give negative feedback if they don't want the key.

Entering the giveaway AND redeeming they key means the person wanted the key, in this situation giving negative feedback it's just a scam move.

They are fed up with these scams, like me. Posting cheap / free GOG keys found or won somewhere and then linking to the Steam page to get the reward on IG according to the Steam pricing is intentional scamming as it isn't a Steam key (right on page one of the giveaway section you can read "Welcome! Giveaways are raffles that users create by giving guaranteed Indiegala keys or steam games. Enjoy and good luck!" This is an absolutely clear statement!). Some people like GOG keys nevertheless, and be it to come up with the next giveaway, some like me don't. Yes, good question: What is wrong with people?

It sure is offering a game you will own is a scam. Steam & co. are only offering a lend. If for some reason they stop their services you will be fuck up right and proper, while GoG offer offline intall. If the probability that Steam close is very (very) low, others launchers that flourished recently may closed like the Bethesda one.

Two new beta keys:

People can enter a giveaway from the giveaway page without entering the main giveaway page and reading the description, so they spent the coins on it.

When they get the key and find up is not for Steam they can get it and leave a negative feedback for that reason cause they can have legitimately tought that it was for Steam but they are now forced to use something else.

The vast majority of people here will not care about those things, if you get a free game it's good enought, but there are people that will do things like that.

If the user give a negative leaving the key untouched is ok but in this particular case i can give you two advices:

1) Go to your Library, Giveaways tab, on the bottom left select Blacklist and add the users to it so it can't participate in your future giveaways.
If you don't know hot to add him go to the Game Giveaway page, click on the avatar of the winner and copy-paste the profile link from the address bar.

2) Name that user so other people can ban him for stealing keys.

Not touching the key and leaving a negative feedback is ok, it's not a Steam key so it's perfecly legitimate.

Activating the key on GOG or on other sites and leaving a negative is NOT ok, it mean that you haveaccepted the giveaway so you need to give a positive.

BTW, if the game is the same calling it cheap / free will not do it, a whole lot of games gived away here are from giveaways from other sites or reused keys that where got here, they are still ok, using that argument would mean not accepting any game thatcome to a previous giveaway.

Time ago i won a key on an external site but i already got the game so i made a giveaway here.

After some time i entered a giveaway for the same game cause i had extra coins and won my key back.

Made another giveaway and after some time i won it back again so in the end i made 3 giveaways with the same key, after that i don't know what happened to her.

Oh, this is actually something that normally must not be done, the site prevent you to use 2 times the same key, if you try it it will not let you make the giveaway, you need to put something extra on the filed to bypass the limitation, like "Stem Key: aaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa".

Cheap, free or costing a million dollars is irrelevant. It's a working game, period.

Don't want the GOG key?

Fine, give the negative feedback, but don't use the key.
If you use the key and still give a negative feedback you are the scammer.

Blacklist isn't working at the moment, at least not for me, but will do.

This was the giveaway
The user is principedelsole lock
