Loopsters is the full game. It's just not released yet. Not a beta. Not playable. Even if it was, that's not against the rules.
By that description they would be Playtesting or Prerelease keys.

Playtesting keys are not allowed per edict from Administrator @paula , and Prerelease keys usually have the caveat that they are not allowed to be sold/bartered/transferred by the person who received the key from the developer/publisher.

No. The description is, the game has not been released yet. There is no playtesting. There is nothing to download. The game is not released.

You making up rules that only you and "paula" know except paula doesn't answer you. Come on, you're not that stupid. If you are the only one that knows what the rule is, then it's not a rule. Stop pretending your imaginary conversations with paula are rules. They are not.

The keys must accurately reflect the app ID. That's it. If IG wanted to disallow games that had no price, they could do so.

Another fantasy of yours. Such keys are often given away for promotion to sites that distribute them in the thousands. From such well known sites as AWA to random Russian sites that promote various social media tasks.

@leopard

Mislabeled giveaway.
Furthermore, the key being given away here is simply "WELCOMEGIFT". No need to enter this giveaway to obtain it.
And the four games included are all available for free separately anyhow.

(Leopard is one of those "banned" users, BTW. Thanks, IndieGala...)

It's also not possible to comment on the giveaway to wan users.

I reported both giveaway and comment problem on discord, let's see if it have some effects.

Also, look on how many 160 coins giveaway are active now, on level 6 out of 16 giveaways 13 are of that kind, and there are 1-2 until level 9.

Almost all level 6 are either those 160 coin price scam, or GOG keys ("Industria") right now, wow.

GOG key
Are you blind? Description clearly states that it is a gog key.
Why are you taking part in giveaways with gog keys if you don't want them?
You got a key and what did you do with it?
If you don't want good games (often AAA) on gog you won't get any - that's how it will end. Indie gala giveaways are dead anyway because steamgifts is for steam games, here 99% of steam games are garbage / games given away for free on other sites.
Many other people are happy that they got the game for free on gog (myself included):

1. “Don't want the GOG key? Fine, give the negative feedback, but don't use the key.”
I did not use the GOG key. I don’t have GOG.

2. When creating a giveaway, it asks you a Steam link to gather the meta data and a Steam key. It is a fair assumption to us giveaway participants that the key is for Steam without looking at the description and joining from the giveaway list.

It's not my/our problem.
If you care about feedback, then it is your problem. Unfortunately there's no way to tell if it's a GOG key without looking at the description, and as I said, most people don't do that.
I can read the description if I'm interested in a game and if I don't accept the terms, I don't participate in the giveaway. Simple.
Sure, I do that too. I'm familiar with the Prime releases, so when I see a title from there end up here, I know there's a good chance it's for GOG. Of course many will assume it's for Steam, and be disappointed when it's not. If you give away GOG keys, you have to expect that.

I received negs for keys where they said it worked and thanked me. Three all at once, from different accounts, presumably the same person on multiple accounts. I received another saying they didn't like the game. Not that it didn't work, or was the wrong game. They didn't like the game so left a neg.

It is also simple to read the rules before creating the giveaway. It will take 1 second.
This is outdated from the start, anyone can add any key they want to any platform, that's the only reason this site is alive. 99% of games with Steam keys that appear here are free keys giveaway by fanatical, alienware and that Russian garbage - mini hog games. Accept it and start reading giveaway descriptions.

If this is an unspoken rule, then ok, I understand. But this seems to be fairly recent “unspoken rule”, not “from the start”. Don’t expect 100% of the members know this, even the world had a slow transition from fax machines to e-mails.
And have some accountability. You called me trash even though I didn’t activate the GOG key.
