Yet another Facerig DLC fraud:

I entered and won this giveaway after many failed attempts to win one of these things. The key turned out to be for this:

I'm willing to take a guess that all those Back 4 Blood keys are for the open beta.
Don't bother entering those at all if you know what's good for you. Multiple sites are already giving out keys ahead of time.
They aren't even redeemable yet.

oh,,checking this post made me change my suspicions into facts,,,it seems scamming is common,as well as starting to think that my missing giveaways are actually keys that got robbed by #$#$#$# ,,,as i cant re create the giveaways using the same keys as i thought may b a server bug didn't register them firstplace ..there is a specific guy who has like 20 giveaways of back 4 blood,,, i really doubt him that he somehow got my keys,,,is that even possible ,,does some one know if such thing can happen?
or it is still some bug that happened??( in addition to couple of keys that i am sure were not dup, but was contacted about as being dup!!)

I tried taking a key from Intel to activate when it was initially released to see if I tried activating what error I would get. It activated fine and will tell that the key is for Back 4 Blood Beta but on Steam client it will state "The item is not yet available" thus it cannot be played yet.

I think something is created when someone replies in the giveaway for the first time (and there is a not well made functionnality that adds a first message "welcome to the giveaway for XXXX" by the first one to comment instead of the creator).

Indeed it is weird that they added such clause to indicate that you can only activate it from August 5 but it activates before that. Steam's control issue? Intel's communication issue? Heck it so long as we can play our games

Wow with just 7 positive giveaways he power(cheat) leveled to 6.. Hope support honor what they said about 3 and he's gone. Given how much work Indiegala support has let's give them 3 days before we finalize if that bomb has indeed exploded or is that a dud.

I can also agree with you that the other 3 probably will be auto positive given that about 50% of winners will let the system decide for them.

True story, back when the giveaway section was created, I won a CSGO giveaway. The key was 66666-66666-66666.
Since I didn't check the site (not knowing I won), couldn't give feedback--and the auto confirm thing gave them credit for it.
Never made an issue about it since the point value was too low to matter.

So I guess be happy you're at least getting an actual key for something? Lol.

As long as there is no moderation, this will continue, since the user(s) doing it have already succeeded before. I bet they are the same person creating new accounts. Then you have actual new people, too, who either experience it or read about it here and want to do the same.
